Dodo
Just thought i'd make a topic for this one don''t actually intend to make it just yet but i wanted some advice on what would be the best components to use to recreate it as i think it looks sweet! Any help welcome. The main thing i wanna find out is what would people recomend for a base for starting this project.
Samm
Erm, possibly the Barrett? You'd probably just have to CNC machine most of it from scratch. It would be terribly impractical for skirmishing though (as I imagine the Barrett is also.) It is an anti-tank rifle afterall :/ You haven't been reading this thread by any chance have you? http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...topic=34075&hl=
bullzebub
id use a p90 or a AK .. everything has to be custom made, so you better base ot on a solid mechbox.
Deviant
id use a p90 or a AK .. everything has to be custom made, so you better base ot on a solid mechbox. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Easier to use a m4, and make side plates of out plastic etc. My plan isn't to copy the gun, just the over all style. In a smaller package. I have no desire to run around with 12-20+ lbs of metal.
Dodo
lol yes i had been reading that post, i was just putting the question out there and if i did sumat like that i'd scale it down a bit so it'd be just a bit longer than an M4.
m.thumwood
i'd start with a m4 tbh with you mate also, where do you live. ?... i'll send you some sea weed if you need it. ?? lol
Samm
If you're going for specifics, that gun looks nothing like an M4...
Tuulos
By the way, Barrett and AS50 are not anti-tank rifles, they are anti-material rifles Now this, this is Anti-Tank Rifle http://www.obscure-reference.com/guns/even.../20011111-4.jpg http://www.obscure-reference.com/guns/even.../20011111-7.jpg

Murph
I thought M4 at first two... but when I take a second look at it, a G36 might be better suited. The recievers look more alike.
Donut
I think that thing will be so much cooler and effective if it was a bull-pup...
Deviant
Bullpups are cool. I've been tossing around that idea for a long time. I just always draw a blank when I try to make the mag area look "cool". They always look like it's a long stick with a mag stuck out of it. (grins)
