Donut
Well, I need a new project to keep me occupied now that my XM90 is almost done and not a priority anymore. (Check the Unholy Fusion picture thread for pics... or maybe I'll spam it here later) I'm thinking of building a GAT X-105 Beam Rifle from a NBB. Now here's my question, Co2 or Green? FPS isn't really an issue, rather for accuracy and consistency which should I use? This will kind of be a marksman/recon rifle/pistol...(?) Thanks. btw, I live in Washington and the weather is mostly on the cooler side. EDIT: Just incase anyone is wondering, the base guns will probably be either Green (KJW/STTI/Y&P SOCOM) or CO2 (Palco/Firepower CO2 USP) Unless someone has a better choice, around the same price range... preferably under $70-
bullzebub
CO2 all the way! only HPA is better
cllwayzata2011
co2 FTW!! Has alot more power, and range then Green Gas.
Donut
FPS on CO2 is generally higher, I don't want it to be too high... CO2 with a 455mm tightbore sounds painful... Maybe I'll have to tap some holes to vent a little of the gas out...
bullzebub
its better to regulate the gas ...
