Voodoo
Hey does anyone know if there are any airsoft magazines that resemble those for the mp5's that are in 10mm and .40cal, I just though I saw something about this a long time ago before all of the site changes. The only real cosmetic difference with these mags are they're straight... I think the just look cool Any information or links would be greatly appreciated, Cheers, -Voodoo
Phoenix
I've seen custom mags, but that about it. I don't really thing it would be too hard trying to custom make them if you had access to machinery and the materials.
SrednaS
isn't the reciever a tad bit bigger also? to accomodate the larger round?
Voodoo
Ya, it is obviously an entirely different firearm with different size componants to accomadate for different rounds but in the airsoft world the different magazines would pretty much turn the gun into a diff. model... kinda like putting AK74 mags in and airsoft AK47, it's automatically is seen as an AK74. Thanks for your speedy replies guys, very appriciated. Voodoo out.
Shin_Kudo
That may not necessarily true. For some reason, I'm thinking that the MP5/10 uses the same reciever, just different internal components, I believe it can be converted from an MP5 9mm. Not sure, though. blink281aa
Yeah, I've seen some guy over there in the UK that made some custom .40 mags. If i recal correctly, he cut of the top of the stock hicap, and attached it to a custom, resin molded straight body. Oh, and yes, the internals are what's different. A company in Arizona makes a conversion to go from 9mm to 10mm. Real steel that is.
W.K.Shuridys
I would kill for straight MP5 low-caps. I know Guns Workshop made early MP5s with slim forearms and straight hi-caps, but I prefer going in with 20 low-caps as opposed to one hi-cap. They said they're also all out of the straight mags.
