Kireru
I've been looking into grenades for airsoft, and I'm wondering what works and what doesn't. Now I'm talking about the type of grenades you buy in a store, not the ones you make in your dad's garage. So let me and everybody else know, what you've bought, tried, felt and seen. Any feedback on the PFI ones from WGC would be great appreciated... Cheers, Dan

Catman
Equally: the Escort gas grenades are pants. They need to be stripped and re-greased (yes grease, not lube) after about 3 uses. The timing system is a joke, if it doesn't go off in your hand or mid-air it might just go off when it lands and assuming it doesn't land on the fixed-hinged spoon. (Edit: oh and it holds ~30 bbs and they just shoot out of the bottom of the grenade so their area of coverage is naff also.) I've pre-ordered two of the Deep-Fire gas grenades from Redwolf - they look half decent. Taking a bit of a chance pre-ordering them but I remain optimistic They have bits that fly about the place (the grenade body comes apart) but I'm going to spray the insides of those bits with some day-glow colour so the can easily be found again. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...tail?newsID=
hitmanNo2
Anyone used those new Sheriff distraction grenades yet?
W.K.Shuridys
I have a Thumper TG6 made by Non-Lethal Training Munitions in the States and it's fantastic. Very loud indoors, you can fill the burst cap with BBs or some smoke powder, and even if they don't strike anyone they definitely know they're out. It's a little pricier to reload than other units but the intimidation and fun factor is worth it IMO. http://www.nltm.us FYI apparently these are off-limits to domestic civilian sales, sorry my American bretheren. Outside the States you might want to check it out.
