skladfin
Hi, guys, I'm new here. From Airsoft Canada forums . I asked a question about Big-Out H-Hop up rubber(Is this the RUBBER or a part of the hop-up system? Im actually not sure about that) at Airsoft Canada and they said that you guys have tons of threads about this. But unfortunately using the search engine, I was unable to find ANY related threads. If someone can redirect me, it would be great. Well, I was just wondering about the performance of this: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=20164 Thanks. davedawg123
Welcome to Arnies! It is not the hopup rubber. It is the nub that pushes down on the rubber. Normal nubs are cylindrical, offering only one point of contact on the bb. The H-hop and similar nubs offer 2 points of contact on the bb, like so. I believe there is some discussion of h-hops in these threads: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...showtopic=73513 http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...=72154&hl=buck* http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...topic=73845&hl=
boomboomairsoft
im beginning to realize how rediculously over priced this sport is. $9 for those tiny *albatross* mother*fruitcage*ing h-hop pieces. are you ###### me? $2 for a hop bb? $60 for a battery? 400 for an aluminum aftermarket .45 frame/slide made in friggin china or taiwan? there are whole real .45's for $350 and less out there. why do RS parts cost less than airsoft parts? i rarely gripe about much especially online, but this is sport is getting way overpriced edit- didnt mean to jack the thread, just couldnt hold it in

You have no other options. This is what I love about clones: CA's price drops is proof that they'll kick big companies in the *albatross* and get them to drop prices down closer to what they oughta be. Also, batteries aren't made for airsoft guns, airsoft guns are made to take those batteries. If a pack costs $60, then it probably cost just a bit less than that to produce. Cells are expensive. What slide cost $400? Hell, even steel glock slides don't cost that much, nevertheless an aluminum .45 slide. You're probably thinking of an SD WA SVI full metal kit or something. While a 1911A1 may cost $350 somewhere, a kimber or SVI won't come close to that. If you think that's bad, look at AKs. A full metal and wood AK47 will cost you at least $300, whereas a real one would run you about $3 and half a turkey sandwich. Get a firefly soft bucking. Using everything else stock, the bucking alone added 20-30 feet of range to my gun. I may have an H-hop to test soon, too. Poweredge will get them in stock in a few weeks. Make sure you get one quick, they go fast.
skladfin
Sorry, I just got quite confused about what the H-Hop ACTUALLY replaces. IS this what the H-Hop replaces? And as for the airsoft being pricy thing, We, Canadians have it much worse compared to other countries. We need business license to import airsoft and a JG AEG in the US which costs about $90~USD, costs $400CDN here. All because of the insane amount of duties and taxes put on. Lance Jackass
I'm pretty sure thats the part.
Donut
Yeah, that's the part. Personally I don't see the need or use of them, though that might just because I only have P90's to try them on, and they only gave a marginal performance boost; it should have a greater effect on guns with longer and tighter barrel and upgraded fps as well, but don't quote me on that And I should be the one to talk I'm the one charging $8-10 for one
skladfin
thanks man. I'm going to order one of these along with a prometheous hop sleeve.
