  1. Thanks for the compliments guys. @ Frogfish, if you can find an IBH keep it or sell it for lots of dough. ILC Dover the manufacturer of the IBH only made 741 pieces. @ ctres94, great finds. I wonder if the rails they come with rail mounts and winglocks. Hopefully those rails will get back in stock, I would like to build another one. The drilling points I found by placing the rail as low as possible, touching the apex of the ear cutout and then leveling it as much as possible. That way if you need to cut away more material it gives you some room. Also what helped me a lot was reference
  2. Finally finished putting this together this morning, took about 2 months to aquire all the desired parts and shop work. It started life as a stock WE M4a1.
  3. After getting some velcro and some adjustments to the straps I can say I done with my replica fast ballistic helmet. If you want to build one you'll need the following: 1.IBH, I think mine was a king arms but not sure. The IBH has extra material around the ears so all you need to do is place the arc rails on the side and trace the amount of material that you need to cut off. MICH's work okay but the bulge from head to ears starts too soon, so you'll wind up with rail with no helmet material underneath. The IBH's run about $50 2.MICH 2001 with NVG mount and side rail. I wound up bu
  4. @frogfish I got the shell from an IBH. The VAS shroud and side rails from a Mich 2001. X nape from Ops Core. The chin strap is simply the best thing out there, extremely comfortable. Overall I'm pleased on how it turned out.
  5. Hey shouldn't you be posting something in the for sale section.
  6. Has anyone heard anything from WETTI recently? What happened to the PDW, HK 416, and m14?? Is it just me or has it become increasingly difficult to allocate spare parts, such as CO2 conversion parts.
  7. Hey I was just wondering if anyone here has any spare non-CO2 steel nozzles that they would like to sell?? I have been looking for them.
  8. Yeah I have heard similar stories about the stabilizer and fitment issues. On both of my guns I wrapped the screw that attaches the nozzle assembly to the bolt carrier with plumbers/teflon tape and I don't any issues. I just make sure that the nozzle assembly looks relative straight and tighten. Otto uses blue loctite which also works to keep the nozzle assembly from coming apart from the bolt carrier.
  9. @Accuracy I think I know what's your problem. I experience the same thing when I got some replacement nozzles. When you chamber the first round you use the charging handle, which is relatively slow when compared to a bb being chambered by a by a previous shot. This allows the bb to be fed and sit where it should in the hop up chamber. So when I would fire the first round a second round would come out but at a slow velocity, hence double feed. What was happening was the momentum of the bolt upon firing was so great after the initial first round went off, the second round that was supposed to
  10. Does anyone know which magpul ctr sock fits the WE m4a1, commerical or milspec version?
  11. I have been running my guns at around 400 fps and they shoot fine and straight. I'm using the green v shape HU. I agree that if your bb's hook that it's silicone in your hop. Take a cleaning rod and clean it out. Also if your using green gas that could affect your trajectories too, due to the silicone in it.
  12. TDS, Your statement regarding practicality makes no sense. Airsoft is a game of honor, if people want to cheat they will cheat no matter what you do. Systems rifles have quick change cylinders, escort guns have regulators, many new aegs have gearboxes that allow the spring to be taken out without dismantlng the entire assembly, and then you have the RATech npas system for the WA system which I hope they develop one for the WE. When I say practical, I expect it to work as advertised, which this doesn't. It must be have an ease of use, even at home with correct tools it was a challenge to g
  13. Well I had the chance to test TSC's undirectional nozzle this afternoon. I used a steel nozzle and steel floating valve. The lowest rage I got was about 200 fps. The highest I got was about 480 fps. It turns out that about a quarter turn is roughly equivalent to 25 fps. I'd say you have about 3 revolutions max for adjustment. So it does work in terms of adjustment pretty well too. In terms of consistency I was getting -/+ 10 fps, pretty good. But before you all decide to get one there is one issue and it's a big one. The problem lies in the smallest part of the assembly the locking nut.
  14. Diitto on the sealing of mags. I have sealed all my mags with Blue RTV gasket sealer that I found at an auto store. I have 14 mags not one of them leak. Also making sure that I leave good charge of gas in each of them. When sealing make sure to apply to the top and bottom of the rectangular gasket because thats where the leaks will happen. The when reassembling don't tighten too much. let it set for 24 hours and them come back and tightend some more. This will ensure a good seal. The fill a gas to keep it tight. In regards to the power adjustment knob by airsoft123. Its does work but not

@ Luis, the issue maybe be your hop up. But what is sounds like to me is that the bbs from the force of the bolt returning to battery are being pushed past the chamber section into the hop up. You could increase your hopup but I imagine at some point those bbs will start sailing upwards. Maybe you could reduce nozzle length a milimeter so the rubber hopup chamber catches it.
  16. Has anyone heard any news on an upgraded part # 59? I saw someone on this board made a bunch slghtly redesigned ones.
  17. Does anyone know where to get 300 fps steel nozzles? I've looked everywhere and can't find them anywhere. Or should I just buy the CO2 nozzle set?
