The best place I've seen is the EBay Store "Combat Optical". They stock all the NCstar replicas and I'm pretty sure they ship internationally. And I've seen Donnies collection... it brings a tear to my eye...

BUT, I don't have 300+ to spend on a sight... Maybe after my AEG collection is complete. Too many other priorities.

Check the 'pictures of your weapons' thread MKII - I know it's like 200 pages, but somewhere in there is a picture of an EOtech cracked by a bb. It still worked - but he was super angry - I would have cried like newborn...

No thanks, I had a G&P aimpoint on it and wasn't happy. I personally love those cheapo NCstar optics. That one is huge and easy on the eyes while wearing goggles. I mean, its airsoft. Those NCstar optics are more than adequate for BB accuracy - and, I've had two shot in the lens and crack. 25~30 bucks gets me a new one. Had that been an EOtech that had cracked, I'd be weeping like a baby. I know some guys are hugely anal about weapon optics, but for my needs, I love me some NCstar. Oh, and I prefer the look of that one too.

Thanks EvilHippy - have I ever told you that you're my idol (non-sexually). Seriously, I've seen your collection... uh.. yeah.. anyway, that's just a cheapo NCstar reddot on a Max Tactical RIS fix (meant for M4 RISs - to connect them to the reciever) which just happened to work well for a bit of a riser on the red dot, and give the gun a bit more substance and unique look. I personally really like those cheap NCstar optics - for airsoft, they are more than adequate and you don't weep like a toddler when they take a bb to the lens...

Thanks man, its my pride and joy I got it from Redwolf airsoft in Hong Kong - it's tough to find in the states for under 500$, but Redwolf had a great price and got it to me in 3 days!!! Can't recommend them enough.

You're a man after my own heart 6ft4. Did you have to file down the inside of the AG36 a bit to fit it over the K flash hider? I had to do that to mine - very annoying but worth it.

the gun with the bipod is using an HK51 outer barrel while the AG36 is using the classic army K-length flash hider and barrel. I think I personally prefer the scoped handle, but I'm not sure yet. The handle makes this beast feel even bigger and I kinda like that... not sure yet - will have to play with it some more
