Here it is with the 'family'
-
Which do you like better? C-style rail, or scoped carry handle?
-
You know what this thread needs? A little more: AG36!!!!!! My new toy that showed up today This one's for you Glenn...

Nitro.vo/first factory/laylax - sell a 'flat top kit' for G36C rails - it basically fills in the holes when you pop the iron sights off the rail. Creates a very similar look - though the kit is rediculously overpriced at 35$ USD. Still, most all the Hong Kong dealers have it in stock and readily available. And, it still might not be a 'satisfying' look though.

Wow, that's great info - I hadn't wired up my G&P 'sniper' stock yet either, but now I'll give it a go.

And here is the whole family:

Here is the Sharpshooter MK2: Sorry - my cat loves when I take pictures...

Ok, made some more modifications and arrangements. These should be pretty firm (for a least a couple weeks ) First, the Space Marine MK2: And with the sights open:

I'm now bidding on a Flecktarn flack jacket on Ebay too. Man, those things are cool. I'll need a whole flecktarn loadout it seems...

You can never have too many G36s
-
Oh, and for batteries, I use a battery sling, the G&P battery stock or put a mini inside the grips. Depends on which one I'm using that day. They all have tight bore barrels and are fully skirmishable.
-
Yeah, I took a hack saw to it, removed the iron sights, filed it smooth and then put flip up sights on it. I also used a madbull M4 RIS fix to raise the back section just enough to bring the rear sight to witness through the aimpoint and front sight. It also has a 455mm tightbore and CA HK51 outer barrel. I posted details of all the mods done to each in the G36 pics thread. I really love me some G36.

Here's my babies

Here's the whole happy family together Of course, I'm always rearranging and redoing things. But for the most part, I think these will stay in these configs for a while.

Ooops, actually the "sharpshooter" is using a 407mm inner barrel and an HK51 outer barrel. I used an M4/M15 RAS Fix riser from mad bull to give the back half of the hammerhead-style rail a bit of a raise to achieve witness with the front sight. The aimpoint is a King Arms red/green with cantelevier. The folding sights are a Star SR25 sight and a Samurai rear flip up. The cheekpiece is a tie-on Blackhawk rifle pad. The SD "commando" does not have an outer barrel - just the silencer attached right to the gas block. The SD also has a G&P offset mount that puts the on/off and momentary sw

the SD model is using a king arms 14mm- threaded SOCOM metal silencer - internally it has a 363mm madbull tightbore (they all have that - a 363mm tightbore - best length for a K). The light is a G&P tactical illuminator. There are 2 types of these, one with an additional rail on the bottom (the one I have) and one without. Thanks for the comment Glenn.

Some of my latest configurations: The "Sharpshooter" - the flip-up sights are a perfect cowitness through the aimpoint I call this one, the "Commando" (I know, I know, some people say the 'C' in G36C stands for commando, but it doesn't - due to a Colt trademark) And I call this one, the "Space Marine" - again, the flip-up sights are a cowitness setup through the red dot. And yeah, I was shooting for a Doom sort of look - then just went bucknutty. And I actually have a 4th G36 - but its a pretty standard K variant that I've posted before. Yes... I have 4 Cl

thought so - but I do want to build an AS one just like it
-
Isn't that a real-steel gun? either way, it sure is gorgeous. One of these days I'm going to have to plunk down the 400 for an AG36.
-
Thanks guys - I was kind of going for a space marine look for a new load out I'm trying. I'll have to post pics of my HK in 2050 look (I'm such a dork) Actually, I have 2 more G36s I'm working on! You could say I'm a little obsessed. I hope to have pics of all 4 up by the end of the month. And Static, that MP7 is just so beautiful - I think that will have to be my next purchase. That silencer and samurai aimpoint are a very nice touch.
-
As promised, pics of my USP .45 - no trades though - with my G36s Ks (and please, no WTF N00B HAX GUN R@POR!!! - I know its a bit off the wall for a G36 - but I like to get creative) G36K #1 has a GandP sniper-style battery stock that just came out from Redwolf, along with a TDI folding grip and lots of other odds and ends. G36K #2 is a stock CA36K with aimpoints, rails and cheekpiece.
-
Mine's like that too - I think that is relatively normal.

I'll post my USP later this week. I'm waiting on a couple last parts and then it'll be up.
