  1. Mag release: It is where the RS one is and the RS one is there because that is where the notch is on the RS .45 mags it uses. No real work around without a complex mechanism or something like a BAD lever. There might be something for airsoft users eventually since dropping a gas mag is much more significant than dropping an empty .45 mag.
  2. It's out of stock already... I'd definitely consider a Marui MP7, I love the hop but I am committed to the KWA MP9. I have limited knowledge of stress fractures etc. but from the looks of it the problem could be that the inside of the casting has a nearly right angle transition from sides to front. To make it stronger I think they need to radius that transition to stop the crack propagating. Should be a fairly simple matter for an aftermarket parts manufacturer to achieve,
  3. Well, mine has been running fine without any nozzle return springs for months. You don't have to send a mag either, that'll save postage. That way, if I get it running well and then it doesn't for you - we know it's your mags.
  4. No, that's not against the rules, you have over 100 posts so you could start a sale thread but I will investigate them for nothing and fix them for cost (if they need parts) if you decide to post them. Everything is fixable but there are a lot of parts inside one of these little beasties and if something is broken it takes a trained eye to spot it. What you mentioned about having to manually push the disconnector forward is setting off alarm bells though. A broken disconnector is fairly common and can be caused by an incorrect drill while re-assembling. I'd suspect that first...
  5. Wrong. If you like, just stick them in the post to me.
  6. Ah. You need some CO2 in your life. That 22m shot was horizontal at approximately 10 degrees C
  7. That's odd. With S-Thunder grenades I get more than three times that. I have a shed at the back of my gardern that is 22m from the house and I can hit that hard with .2g bbs.
  8. If you are having trouble reloading the grenades quickly enough I recommend you switch to the type of grenade that has one big hole. Reset. Gas. Pour in bbs. Tape the top. Done. I can reload 4 in 2 minutes tops. The ones with a lot of little holes in them are a total pain to reload. I hate them.
  9. If you get stuck you can come to my work and set it in the hangar of an evening. There is a straight run of at least 50m indoors.
  10. 6 seconds isn't enough, the gas reservoir is massive, I fill for at least 20 seconds from empty then top up after every load of bbs. Keeps it all topped up. The one that still leaks gives you two options. 1, Try to fix it the conventional way by either replacing the rubber seal at the bottom of the mag or by shimming it up by putting teflon tape under it or both. 2, Epoxy the base in and forget about it. Sometimes that was the only way to go with the MK1 mags. Obviously only do that if you don't mind losing the ability to take the mag spring and follower out. Because of the negati
  11. The critical bit is the bit in the feed lips and you can get those off by just tapping out two pins.
  12. I never let mine run out of gas. You can get 6 loads of bbs out of a mag in summer, less when it's cold but I never do that. When I put the bbs in, I always top up the gas, it keeps everything running along like lethal clockwork.
  13. You know what? No need to go that far, I haven't taken the anodising off of any MP9 mags, I have done it on other brands though, it helped. I didn't need to do it on mine. Oddly, one of the things that made my mags feed a lot better was the easy load mod I did to them. I took the spring loaded pin out of the follower and I use a screwdriver bit to hold it in place while I fill the mag through a hole I made in the BB channel. Made things a lot smoother.
  14. OK, so lubing the mag follower is the worst thing you can do. You get lube on the bbs which makes your hop inconsistent and the lube attracts dirt which make the followers sticky. If you have already lubed the followers here is what you do: 1, Remove and clean the hop rubber with dish soap or isopropanol, isopropanol is better. By lubing the follower you have lubed the bbs and therefore the hop rubber too. 2, Disassemble the mags, fully (be sure there is no gas in them before you start). 3, Thoroughly clean the lube from the followers and the bb channels (for extra credit rem
  15. The upper receiver should not wobble but it would if the part that holds the barrel in is loose. Your barrel wobbles too, so I would reiterate that you need to tighten screw #175 in the above picture.
  16. Apparently the real holster (a hard plastic ISPC type thing) fits with some material removed from the trigger guard. That bodes fairly well.
  17. You know, posting that .gif doesn't make you the victim of unfounded hatred. It just makes you a douche. Also, Ollie suggesting you search doesn't make him a "hater". It just makes him frustrated with your laziness. Like the rest of us. Take some responsibility for your actions, accept the consequences.
  18. Don't worry about taking it apart. It's easy.
  19. Define effective. If I had to pick a range at which I could hit a human torso every single time, 20m. Which is actually quite far in terms of airsoft if you get a tape measure, a target and spend some time shooting at it. The problem is that it doesn't seem like a great distance compared to people claiming to be able to get headshots at 100m with a vsr-10. If you follow.
  20. Are the slots in the mas that allow you so see the remaining ammo in the same place? If not you have magazines from the two different systems. I know it is a stupid question but it is worth eliminating first.
  21. As long as you don't overfill the mags or slam a full mag into the gun with the bolt forward you should be 99% safe from a snapped nozzle with a low power bolt...
