FAO British Forces bods: In your travels, have you seen or heard of JP Rifles stuff being on issue? Managed to identify the mount my Trijicon red dot is on, and the chap I got it from says it's all issue, taken from his workshop.

I wasn't aware the ACOGs were railed on top? That's for bolting directly to a RIS, Not to wrap around an ACOG. There's 3-4 models with those "wings" on the side

British Forces are getting this type of sight for front line troops. The reflex red dot is not exact to the ones we are getting, but very similar.
On a fun police note... it is a criminal offence for any soldier to have any real steel weapons parts... ANY PARTS whether they are capable of firing or not... this includes mags, sights etc. They all belong to the crown, even when broken etc.
Just thought people should know as it carries a 5 year custodial!
