  1. sp00n, no mounts that I know of all for the iron sights, mainly due to how close they are to the barrel, they're about level to the ridge that runs down the center of the mount, so you can still see the sights, but as soon as ANY other mount is placed on there they become blocked. I'm hoping I get my order sorted out with Cabelas pretty soon so that I get me Leupold Tactical and my ARMS rings before the end of the week or soon after. As you can tell I'm not one for replica optics, much to my wallets dismay. The eotech is really nice, but It feels a bit too high on the M14 for my tastes.
  2. Thanks, now the debate, after I get a leupold tactical scope and arms rings all mounted, should I camo this baby or leave it OD? I'm gonna snag a wood stock whenever someone like Guarder or whatnot make one, but a camo scheme? yay/nay?
  3. While this is technically a bump, something new to add, King Arms now as a scope mount out that fits both marui and g&g guns, however surprisingly enough the Marui M14 also fits real steel mounts to a degree. I went about trying to mount a real ARMS 18 mount to my M14, it fits like a glove on first look, but there's one catch, the hole in the receiver that marui used is slightly smaller than the real thread size of the M1A/M14/M21/M25s so I had to re-tap the hole to allow the real bolt to grab on. Also the fit of the piece that slides into the notch before the rear sight assemb
  4. Sorry I gotta ask the same thing, maybe the premise is from a BBC show, but the show itself to my knowledge is 100 percent American in origin. I could be wrong.
  5. Enzo, if only you could get me Jessica Alba from your animated gif you too sir would fulfill one of my REAL LIFE fantasies. lol. But glad you liked it. Static, glad you dug the gun, yeah it's definately one of my favorite guns, when fitting the frame and slide the binding was so bad at first i thought I had paid almost 400 bucks for un-shootable CNC'd junk. As soon as I got everything fitting and sliding like greased lightning I was pretty happy, in fact I had a grin that would have made Jack Nicholson in Batman look tame by comparison. As for how it shoots, when I first got all put
  6. I'm a HUGE fan of the Fox show 24, especially seasons 1 and 2, so that inspired me to make the Jack Bauer hand cannon, in fact my boss, the CEO of the company I work at took one look at the Sig 226 and tried to buy it off me as he's just as big of a fan. I refused, I couldn't give it up. It was at work because we were using it for a photoshoot for a webpage we were working on. But you gotta love it when a fellow fan goes weak in the knees over something as simple as a character's sidearm.
  7. Correction, I just installed a 550mm barrel and it goes just about to the end of the outter barrel, I can see you putting a 570mm in there but you'd have to get that custom cut, 550mm aint nothing to scoff at considering it's only 40mm shy of a PSG1 barrel.
  8. One thing to note is that when you get the flashhider off, you'll quickly realize that while marui chose to go with a 500mm inner barrel, you can easily get something more like a 560-570mm barrel in there, so if you're ABSOLUTELY diehard about getting the biggest barrel possible, you can put something bigger in there. I'm personally installing a KM 509mm TN barrel, as an M16 inner barrel is pretty friggin long, I may try to upgrade to a 550mm inner barrel if the local airsoft store carries one. But I sniped with a decked out APS2 for years at 500+fps and that gun had a slightly cut down SG1 tn
  9. On monday I'll be able to tell you guys if the real ARMS 18 mount fits the marui receiver, yeah I'm crazy spending 150 on a real mount.
  10. Anyone know what the inner barrel length is? I want to upgrade that at least, while I'm waiting for a scope mount, just ordered my scope for this gun, lol, Leupold Mark 4 tactical, not the replica either.
  11. VICTORY! Yeah it's big, mmmmkay...
  12. I think I'll follow up my AK74SU review with the TM M14, so I'll raise my hand. I need to do one for the Prime Sig 226 kit as well.
  13. Mine shipped from Redwolf on monday, so they're trickling in, can't wait to get it.
  14. Not really what a meant, probably didn't phrase that right, on the real M14 to my knowledge you can hold down a button to have the bolt handle remain locked open when loading, then to release it you give it a slight tug and it goes forward again. This would be useful when setting the hopup and whatnot.
  15. fareast you ######, before that video I was PERFECTLY fine with waiting a few weeks to get my m14 from redwolf, but NOW i'm bouncing off the walls for this, thanks a bunch man, time to go back to decaf. Thanks for the video though!
  16. Not sure if I mentioned them, but yeah have fun waiting for the Mp5, I've been looking forward to that for 2 years now, I wouldn't hold your breath. It may come out, but who knows. I'm not super impressed with the actual performance of the PTW M16s, but I will give Systema a chance if they EVER release the mp5.
  17. Thanks a bunch, hopefully redwolf is on the ball with this one. Can't wait to snag one, I'm sure the feeling is mutual for hundreds of fellow airsofters.
  18. Thanks Magsz, much appreciate the comment. As for the K, it's TM based, I built the conversion long before k conversion parts were available, besides that horrible dragon arms kit. The gun isn't using airsoft conversion parts, the Stock, Dual Optic, forearm, and flashhider are from a real G36K. Back about 3 years ago the only way to modify some of these parts was through a guy named Ko, Ko modified the stocks, and created barrel extensions and a fake gas tube. At the time this was the only way to get a proper looking K. So anyways to sum it up it's a G36C with real steel K parts, real sco
  19. Any word on a firm release date? or is it one of those, "soon" answers from the wonderful helper gnomes at tokyo marui? Also I was hearing rumors it had a working bolt hold upon feature, is that true?
  20. Damnit you guys get season 4 on dvd way sooner than we do, by a whole lot, we get it in december. So yeah, you guys suck. At least the tables are turned and we get battlestar season 2 way before you guys, so nayh nayh, okay that's all I got, pretty lame comeback. Nice collection, really varried. I've seen some collections from a few people I know who have a LOT of guns, but just repeats of the same gun, nothing original or special about 'em. Not this case, very nice stuff, donnie. I'm not a huge fan of the Systema PTW, for reasons I won't get into since its off topic, but i figured t
  21. Shao, Havoc, robot 2000, psygen, and donnie, thanks for the compliments. On both the SIG and the 74SU, yeah she's a real winner, for other pics and that review I mentioned it's on this site under the reviews for AEGS. She's a beauty, when I get one of those black steel cocking handles from Guarder, which they just announced you can sure as hell believe I'll swap that out and complete the krinkov. Psygen, it's a long trip up from the anarctic, but sure come steal my guns, lol, it's nice and warm here in California. Havoc thanks for the recommendation, I may have to pony up the money a
  22. Tripod, the case I used, I've got 3 of them total, 2 of the 1400 series, which fit my pistol, and a really big one for my rifles that I can swap out the foam on. It's this pick and pluck foat, like little squares cut on the top of the foam that go down all the way. They're about a quarter inch squares, I just traced the gun on to a piece of paper, cut the shape out of the paper, and then positioned the mags, silencer, and gun in the box, arranged them and then removed the foam. Then I just trimmed it down height wise so that they'd be recessed. Did it in about 90 minutes, while watching Starga
  23. Why thank you, you guys are so kind, so flattering me, seriously, stop it. I swear to god if I get one more compliment... Havoc, thanks, yeah it's the Jack Bauer "This gun has single handedly killed more terrorists in the wold than any other gun out there" handgun of freedom. As jack would say so eloquently, "DAMNIT!" I need to pick up a USP compact to complete the 24 duo of guns. I'm on the fence if i want to do it with the shooters design slide, or really pony up the dough and go with the zeke one. Suggestions?
  24. Nicho, echotebarknwhale, and mt, thanks for the comments. It's a Marui Sig 226 with the Prime kit. I was put in contact with prime directly and asked for a silver slide and barrel. They had to mix and match for me because it's the non-railed lower plus the silver upper, which uses the slide from the railed kit (hence no anchor/navy logo on the slide) so it's a pretty unique one off kit. As for the silver parts, I purchased an aluminum polishing kit, which consisted of polishing compound and polishing wheels, about 3 hours on the drill press and I had them shined up nice. When stainless steel p
