Thanks guise. Replica Surefire Scout light with pigtail switchfrom EBB, also changed the mount to a replica LaRue Tactical one (you'll need the 2 screws to attach said light-not included with the mount).

SR-16 Recce update; so there's a bunch of cool SR-15 E3's with a midlength URX II rail running either a 12.5" or 16" barrel. I wanted to be different and went with a full-length URX II rail but with a 16" barrel. Need a couple of more things, but its pretty much done. This is a newer set-up, will post more pics later of the regular when the sun cooperates. (Re-post from Knights pic thread)

@ Whuda: I highly recommend keeping that Magpul MIAD grip on your SR-16E3. I used to have a TD replica handgrip-its not at all comfortable, there was no backstrap area to grip, compared to the Magpul one.

@ Azn: your tan & black BHD M4 isn't bad, BUT since you already have that new one with FDE, you might as well go all black. It'd look more authentic imho.

I'm not into the 2-tone thing as well, but that tan and black doesn't look too bad. One suggestion, I'd run that light and mount on the right side of the barrel (i see your sling attachment to the left). It'd look cleaner, imho. Nice project.

No prob man, anytime. As for barrel length with a 12" rail-a 16" barrel or 14.5" barrel would be sexy on it. Depends on the look your going for and the purpose of the blaster.

@ Azn: try a metal file also. If you want extreme, some take apart the AEG receiver, paint it silver, then black-then scratch it up a little~so the 1st coat of silver shows. A metal file works for me. Don't over-do it though.

The tan is a bit light, either repaint the tan areas a darker tan or dust it with brown (don't forget the grip) or repaint everything. Might I also suggest a higher M68 (Aimpoint) mount. The replica Knights, Wilcox, LaRue one's are good. By the way, your birdcage hider is upside down, try to time it right. Nice blaster though.

Dude, any high-top tan/brown hiking boots will work. Don't worry about the brand. If it works for you, that's the bottom line.

A guy I talked to with the SOCOM Gear/ACM MK 18 RIS II in FDE who just installed one said quality was very good. Grab one if you can. Did somebody say Block 2...?

Thanks for the larger AOR2 camo eval pic. Eagle Industries is also contracted to make AOR series gear besides LBT (won't find it on their websides). I'm with all you guys, not too crazy about that M14 mod. Either keep the original set-up or go with an EBR. Frew up in my mouf...
