  1. Only two players i've met that tried to run 11's have both killed there gearboxes so good effort mate ! Well done indeed . All I've done to mine is a new spring and a bearing spring guide , haven't had any problems so fare , touch wood !As to wires not much point in photos as its all shrink rapped up so you can't see much ! But all I did was unscrew the connector hit the terminals with the soldering iron to remove it then re-solder two four inch lengths of wire to the gun wires .
  2. Re-wired both of mine to run on lipo's , easy job ; stock off , unsolder the connectors on the stock tube and solder on a deans connector ( added a length of cable aswell ) , remove the connector from the stock . Job done ! i get a 2200 7.4v cranstock lipo in the TM stock and a 2600 in a 417 stock . I'd also say if your going to run a Sopmod on a 11v lipo get ready for a big time gun death in the near future !
  3. Very impressive Mr Pie , am liking the 'chop' job . Top effort good Sir !
  4. Yup no probs , I run mine on lipo's and I can get a 7.4v 2400 in comfortably in both and a 2600 with a bit of careful ' jiggling' in the 417 stock .
  5. Not tried a G&P but I've tried both a classic army standard crane and a jing gong 417 on mine . the classic was tight as hell but the JG slides really easily , I had to really push and pull the classic quite forcefully to get it to slide on the stock tube . Sorry not the exact answer your looking for but at least i can say some other makes work ok ?
  6. Ha ! ha ! missed that ! Don't you just love the way the iPad changes words !!!
  7. Cheers mate , I've done a bit of 'home testeing' and there was very very little fogging , it's bl****y cold in the Uk at the moment so I stuck it out side for a bit then put it on and tried to 'huff' it up by breathing out quite hard and there was only a small amount of fogging . When it's on as i moved around I could feel a quite noticeable draft on my lover face . As to vision no effect at all , when its on the top row of holes are just below half way up my nose so not a problem , have to say I've only tried it out around the house but it feels like I haven't got any googles on , could real
  8. Yes they do look a bit on the large size but its just due to the cock eyed angle of the photo I think , I drilled the holes with a 2mm drill bit and the holes actually smaller than the slots in a sensai mask ! ;-)
  9. on a wim bought the spartan face shield of ebaybanned , was thinking what i could do with it and came up with this ; mod"ed and added an old bike helmet visor as well .
  10. Looks like someone's strapped a sheet of mecano to it !
  11. Quite like my PEQ-2 , I've fitted a working laser to it and I can fit a mahoosive lipo in it which a mate bought in error and won't fit in any of our guns (which comes in very useful with the recoil and rate of fire on my upgraded guns) . For me no noticeable effect on the balance , but then again I'm a big lump so I don't normally get effected by the weight of any of my guns , i'll run a 249 all day no probs . Suppose comes down to play style aswell though , I'm more of the 'bull in a china shop' style , low attention span so get bored with 'sneaky sneaky' ! ;-)
  12. Not sure about the fuse rating sorry , binned from all my guns . Just to add I'm more than happy with the Batt I linked too , had mine for about 18mths with no problems .
  13. These fit ; http://www.component-shop.co.uk/html/vp15c2s2200cs.html I have a set .
  14. Nope sorry , I only use componant shop Batts so was thinking if you check the dimensions on there site mite be of use to you , also the biggest Batt I've got in mine was a 7.4v 2400 in it .
  15. When I ran this set up in mine a 800 from componant shop was the biggest I could fit in it with adaptor , one thing I did find though was once I stuck an eagle6 spring in it which took it up to 330'ish it was fine on sigle but sluggish as hell on full auto . Since then I've stripped the whole lot out fitted a deans instead and run both my sopmods on 2400 cranstocks and there a LOT happier !
  16. B***er ! You had to put that pic up I was loosing my interest in arid cadpat quite nicely , now it's flaired up again , I'm thinking I 'need' some in my life ! Where is sir getting his cadpat from if I mite be so bold as to ask ? I've seen it on flektarn , but not many other places . Cheers Druid .
  17. Honzo , funnily enuf on longer game days I sometimes carry 6 mids and a hi-cap (just in case) and go for in field re-loads , have to say only needed the hi once but it's there if needed and its worked out nicely , so I'd say go down that road , (and grow some muscles , He he ! ) Jeronimo ; stick a pair of male/female mini spade connectors on a cm or so behind the Deans so you can remove it to take the receiver off .
  18. carrying mids wears you down ! Don't be such a wuss ! Lol Mids are the WHOLE point with the TM recoils , no lock on hi-caps . :-(
  19. Look like your playing tactical Tetris ! :-)

    DMRs

I had exactly the same problem with an up-graded TM EBB socom , I bought a 15c 2200 lipo to go in a PEQ15 and it just about coped but when I stuck a 'normal' sized 25c on it it ran fine , so that's what I now run it on (in an older style PEQ) . Hope this helps mate .
  21. Totally agree matey , defo' the way to go , done both of mine , can get a whole wknd out of one 2600 25c shared by them both . Oh and very sweet GATT btw !

  23. I've already converted my exsisting Sopmod in to a 416 so I'm thinking of DMR'ing the new one .
