Now THATS cool. WE gas offerings have always been a crapshoot in the past. The scarce supply of spare parts was enough to turn off ALOT of customers. I really hope to see that changing with the release of this GBB rifle.

Cool man, if you dont mind, any chance you could take some pictures of the internals? Its not really necessary since a gearbox is a gearbox to me but im just curious to see if they've changed anything in there from their scar gearboxes besides the bearing diameter.

Fellowz, that castle nut is indeed on backwards. Im not sure if you care considering its still doing its job, ie keeping that receiver extension on tight. Hmm, ive got to say that SR15 looks fantastic. Really nice finish on all of the parts. Id really like to hold one to see how good it feels in the hands. How are the selector switches on it? Do they click positively into each position or is there slop? Have you taken the gun apart yet to get down to the mechbox? Im curious to see if the ambi selector mechanism is as much of a pain in the *albatross* as the Scar's system is

The steel parts are probably parkerized which is why you're seeing the difference in finishes. If a gun had all of its metal parts finished in the same color i would be a little confused. (unless of course you duracoated, keracoated, alumahyderized the entire thing).

When was the last time you had a physical at the doctors office? I think your sarcasmoventrilator is busted...

LAWLZCQB, Its a toy, duhz!

Put a TD stubby on there instead of the full length grip. Will end up making reloads a little easier. If you use 47 style magazines you're going to end up hitting that grip when removing mags from the gun. Thats a similar setup to my full length AK, nice job!

No sweat man. Just as an FYI, not all gas tubes in ar15's are bent. The gas tubes on my MRP barrels are straight.

I had to sand my real pmags on my real LMT lower. Its not an uncommon problem for polymer/plastic products to sometimes not fit in specific recievers. The same applies for airsoft. Sanding the lugs on the rear of the magazine will help these magazines fit most lowers. Feeding problems may however still persist. Also, i would NEVER spray the exterior of my magazines with oil, its just asking to act as a dirt magnet.

Mags are reliable, holding up just great. Also, these mags do NOT work in my VFC scar. Inconsistent feeding. Ive tested all six and they wont feed.

What exactly is that supposed to be? A gas piston operating rod? Just fyi, it appears as though its bent...it aint gonna work there buddy.

Alot of people are putting UBR's on longer rifle, ie rifles with 16 and 18 inch barrels. They say that the extra weight of the UBR helps balance the rifle. I dont think i would ever put a UBR on anything 14.5 inches and below, it just seems like too much stock for such a small package.

The stock itself has its own buffer tube which threads into the lower receiver on a real AR. Ive never tried to fit a real one to an airsoft gun so ill let the experts comment on that.

Sure did. The problem that im having is that no matter how well i grease it and no matter how well i torque the nut down, i just cant get it to thread. Ive gone ahead and done it millimeter by millimeter but after about two hours and only getting the first and second threads re cut i gave up. What kind of strap wrench are you using? Mine tends to slip as i dont believe im using a very high quality one. Im currently using one that i got from home depot but that leaves alot to be desired.

Jumper, what modifications did you do to the upper? I have a dytac MUR id love to fit that RAS to but unfortunately, the threading is different. I bought a rethreading tool but the damned upper is so well made that i simply cant rethread it with my tap and die.

Jumper, what upper did you end up putting that Noveske SWS rail on? It looks like a G&P but as far as i know, the threading is different. Did you rethread the upper?

How exactly are the internals better than the VFC offering? I do agree that this is a much better gun than the CA scar. The CA is a bit sturdier but the Dboys is finished much better than the CA gun.

Wow, im curious about the MOE handguards as well. Ive been after a pair for a while now. I cant wait until they're released. The simplicity of the system is just...great.

Mr Sopmod Block 2 realized that we dont need 90% of the stuff that people bolt onto their rails? Ive also been running without a rail system for a few months now and quite frankly...its nice. The only thing i dont like is that i cant mount a white light as readily as i would like but hell, i rarely play night games so no sweat.
