A while back I reported that the forward assist button my rifle had fallen off at some point well I managed to source a replacement but it is the complete forward assist assembly and I only need the button. So does anyone know how to remove the button from the assembly or perhaps even install the the new full assembly (whichever is easiest!) I assume it's only glued in place as mine fell off.

Horizon will be stocking the new charging handles also (plus their own modified RS handle) They aren't exclusive to AB.

Hey redline, Apparently it is a flat/semi gloss black but I'll confirm that when I get back home. Is anyone using a Hurricane EoTech on their WE M4? I really want an EoTech 553 but I'm unsure if an ACM will hold up to the recoil so I thought I would spend a bit more and go for the Hurricane version in tan. However I just want to make sure that it will hold up to the recoil because it wouldn't be so bad if the ACM version broke but a $200 Hurricane...not so good

I haven't actually held it yet as it was sent to my home address and I'm working/living away frome home! Give me until tomorrow and I will get my girlfriend to describe the colour to me (she's got it at home) I should be home in a week or so, so i'll do a proper review then.

My 'real steel' modified charging handle arrived from Horizon Tactical today (super fast delivery by the way) I'm working away for a week or so but I'll do a full review once I get my grubby hands on it! I can't imagine that an airsoft charging handle could be tougher than a RS version but I'll be trying the WE version once Horizon Tactical gets them in stock.

Maybe a dumb question but I've never had anything to do with CO2 cartridges before. So are all CO2 carts the same size and same quality? i.e. Will I just be able to pick up any old CO2 carts no matter what their advertised recommended use and they will be just as good as any other? Does that make sense?!

Nice comparison review mate. I was a bit unsure of which version to go for (at the time I wasn't aware of the size difference) but since then I had decide on the VFC but your review confirmed this. The problem with the VFC is the black straps but it appears the first version of the RS version had these straps too so it isn't a big deal (plus a coat of Krylon would sort it) Now lets hope that G&P decide to do a functional laser version! Personally I think it would be pretty cool to have a RS Gas Buster but they're quite expensive. I suppose WE might come up with one?
