  1. G3 SAS, metal body, nitro vo rail. and with the ol' uzi mag convo:
  2. Thanks. Some of my inspiration comes from theses guys: http://www.rdts.com/MP5KSD.html (real steel customizers)
  3. And yet another...my new mp5pdw, ca metal body, nitro vo top rail, homemade sp89 handguard
  4. Nice review. If you decide it's not worth it, I'll give 'er a try
  5. Spoon, you have a real talent for photography / editing. And some nice toys, to boot Keep 'em coming.
  6. On some advice from murph, I have tried out the original K rear plate. I had to remove the battery connector to make it fit, but I'll be swapping a std mini connector for a deans micro (for r/c speed controllers). To be honest, I like the look of a stock on a "k" so I slapped an m4 stock back on there Here are the latest incarnations:
  7. Thanks. And I defintely understand that short/small/chopped guns are not everybody's taste. Most of the guys I skirmish with seem to be just the opposite. I look at an m14 and, meh...nice gun, but where's my hacksaw There's a switch in my brain that's been going off for over 30 years...make it smaller. I think I was 5 when I smashed the stock off my toy m16. At least I'm getting more refined in my techniques.
  8. lol. Tanks alot. chop 'til you drop with LedPocket...
  9. Completely unhappy with the length of the "k-sd" I had to chop it even further. It is now much more k-like. I'm pretty sure if I chop any more off it'll be a USP and one with the std SD silencer...
  10. MP5K-SD Somewhat shorter than the previous version
  11. Just the fame and adoration of my fans The tanaka is the cheap "jungletoy" version, procured off of ebay. Less than $100 (well, over after shipping... $106). But, real wood grips (no fake pearl ones in this kit, like the "official" jt gun, though) After looking at all the different tanaka saa's at the various retailers, I decided to give the low cost version a try. No trades, an interesting combo of chrome and black, but it appears to be the same basic gun (based on reviews of both types). The single action is very satisfying to operate and hopefully this coming week I'll
  12. evil, the nitro vo rail comes with a new front sight block (with no sight) so you take the original off and bolt theirs on. It's a pretty sweet kit. On to my latest. I have taken the plastic barrel off of my new tanaka, and constructed an aluminum one. Front sight has been omitted to comply with the fast draw style and after the sanding / paint job: This gun makes me want to rustle some cattle Another pic of the sas for comparison Nitro vo kit, metal body... It is unfortunate that they don't include a front bushing for the bar
  13. New tanaka 45 (cheapo jungletoy model) mmm, cowboy shooting.
  14. Pics of the completed silencer adapter installed (plus some bonus pics of some stuff I'm working on ) Having a lathe in my basement is so worth the $1000 in machinery and tooling But, I could have had a 249 para
  15. lol. There really isn't an "old uzi adapter" it is the original outer barrel (with a custom silencer fitted around it) The wgc part is probably your best bet. Although that "sold out" part might be available at another retailer somewhere...I didn't check. But yeah, metal is best for muzzle attachments..
  16. The "uzi" silencer was/is homemade. I made the attachment end of it by drilling a hole a couple thousandths of an inch bigger than the uzi outer barrel, then using grub screws to clamp it on. I have since made a new outer barrel for the uzi that incorporates the 5/8-11 RH thread found on airsoft mac-11's...so the old uzi silencer didn't have a "home" anymore. btw- the uzi comes from TM with an adapter to fit their tracer unit. I'm not sure, but I thought I saw an adapter somewhere for the uzi/14mm ccw threads (probably at wgc) New uzi stuff: edit:
  17. Not for a suicide charge. lol Hadn't really noticed. I put the sight on the other day so I could take a picture for a possible trade. I'm not much for sights on shotguns but I'll be sure to fix that up before I take any more pics.
  18. turned some hex stock on a lathe, drilled and tapped for 14mm ccw, then drilled holes in the sides. thanks, I'm liking it
  19. Bodged up an adapter for my uzi silencer. Doesn't look half bad on a g36, does it? All aluminum construction, no silencing effect, more like an "echo chamber" edit: also made a new flash hider for the m4 pistol:
  20. Marushin M500's are hands down the best IMO. This thread needs more pictures
  21. I aquired a CAR-15 friday that was somewhat abused. It was a loose and wobbly and the front end was all butchered up (barrel chopped, front sight sawn off, flash hider jammed in with a hammer) Spent a good part of the weekend taking some spare m4 parts and converting them to the car-15. The result is a much more solid front end than when I started. I'm happy
  22. Thanks. Not sure if I like this new front piece better than the original I made. It was noted that the original looked somewhat phallic... but I kind or prefer it. hmmmm, back to the lathe
  23. utg mp5 with a well sd front end and a custom shorty sliencer thingy:
  24. That turned out really good. nice looking shotty
