  1. It's an awful lot easier when there's site photographers, though it poses the problem of posers who try to hog the camera
  2. No such thing as "first line" in my opinion... PLCE thats missing the radio pouch on my yoke and bayonet frog at the small of my back. '58 pattern webbing heavy on the '58 and '44 waterbottle pouches. Top is my light '58 belt and holster often with a kidney pouch, bottom is a PLCE belt and holster with a single utility, usually used while supervising. Sent from a smartphone... and?
  3. Not tried a PC for a while prefered my old webbing but have aquired a clone PC and added a few Trojan pouches as well as a bit of "holly green" spray in the old skool way of painting. You can see why it got a spray of holly green... it was a little too tan! Sent from a smartphone... and?
  4. Very Old Skool rig used during directing, '68 pattern jacket and trousers, modded boonie and '58 belt with kidney pouches to hold spares for hire equipment. Sent from my GT-I9100P using Tapatalk 2
  5. Cheers, I'll have a look into a clone. As I'm in the UK sourcing a SILS loop 6004 / 6005 / 6285 is more awkward than the current fashion SERPA and clones, which frankly is a PITA when the suppliers charge more for an order. Sent from my GT-I9100P using Tapatalk 2
  6. I'd just like to know what mods he had to do to a SERPA to assist in the retention of a TM.... At the mo. I just have a nice stock TM 17 usually in either a '58 or PLCE holster (why fix what aint broke) with optional m6 but I'd like to try a SERPA before shelling out for 6004 / Safariland. 7. Its all that wind damaged grasses and the like, mind if you ask the Penguins just about anything work's OK....
  8. Just a few shots of what's stacked in some boxes (that's just out of 2 boxes, I've got two more, not including the webbing, vest and bergan boxes)those Smocks (windproof arctic) with the yellow / orange sliders are my usual umpiring jackets. Just excuse herself's poor reading material... silly formulaic dross by an average author... As you can tell I do quite like the old faithful DPM, Tropicals, DDPM (Windproof, tropical and '95 cut), Barrack wear (lightweights and OG shirts / Heavyweight jerseys), Cold weather gear, the only thing that you could class as a flier is the Bundewher OG
  9. Very nice, very nice, it is normal, however where a scrim net is used for foliage, that the elastic foliage loops are removed from the cover. Here's some (very old) pics, it seems that one of me in full dessie with the stable belt is the newest one I have. Far left hand (as you look at it) last time I bothered blousing at the top of the boots, prior to a staff / regulars v's everyone else game (the two with SLR's and Baldy in the middle were the staff). Prior to a game a few years back fiddling with a tennis ball (which came in useful as an impromtu grenade later on, cle
  10. Oh noes SEALS (Can I has a fish now plz?) I'll have to see i I can dig a few more out, though you may notice they are all quite old...
  11. In games are fine, actually putting the stuff on an posing? nope, kind of feels set up, anyway I reckon there's enough of me on here from an umpiring session a few pages back in dessies from last year. I am knowledgeable about the kit and set ups, with the experience of the later stuff as well, however I really can't stand stitch counters and standing up in gear like a glorified clothes horse.
  12. I gotta admit I'm looking at the pic on a USB dongle here... (with basic 3g not the good stuff) either way its stonking up, kind of makes me want to pull my '68 and the like out for use, though I may pass on it... Don't like having pictures taken posing.
  13. You sure about that Voodoo? Kind of seems more per mer to me... though the resolution on the connection is atm shocking...
  14. Very nice , Obi, the '14 reminds me more of either the Aussies or Kiwi's though, not sure why, but it will come to me at a later date, and knowing my luck it'll be about 0200.
  15. Whoops, forgot about you Jazzy, with the kudos . OK I'd prefer to see more PWRR, Royal Irish / Welsh, Guards, OK to be honest I'd prefer to see more Royals, but people have this media based thing about a set of wings and red hats (with the lack of brains to go with them).
