  1. Ok It's not that authentic to the original anyway.
  2. Haven't tested it myself yet. But a friend of mine said, Maruis wouldn't fit. I'll give feedback when I've tested with 1911A1 mags and the mags from the Marui MEU. And yes, this is an unsusual WE. Hope, WETTI will do some more here. I think they already launched a copy of the Marui 4.3 Desert Warrior. It has this new high flow gas system but I can't say if the finish is robust WETTI style or standard WE and easy to scratch.
  3. The Knighthawk performs suprisingly nice for a WE, I have to say. And I'm normally a WA- and Marui kind of guy, looking for details. I'm not convinced about details, here it is just a WE, but the finish is outstanding. Not that kind of paint that falls off just from looking at it. Hard anodized finish, really solid. But that's the benefit of WETTI, they are to WE what SCW is for WA in principle. Finish and rear sight are very good, rest isn't that outstanding, but performance is good due to this optimized high flow system and an out of box precission inner barrel. Very good bang for the buck.

  5. After finally putting together my Custom Marui/Koba TRP I picked up the newly released WETTI 1911 Knighthawk:

  8. Wow, the coating is really bad … edges and rubbed off parts everywhere … seems to scretch and fall of only from looking at it. But gun itself looks quite nice. The grips are brilliant. Hope to get a pair of them somtime when anyone changes them for Pachmayrs or other grips.
  9. Nice Nighthawk Custom KAC 1911 Knighthawk. Finally I managed to fish me some original G10 gunner grips, being so glamourosly famous in the tan version on the Kimber ICQB of the USMC special forces. Nothing fancy, just a snapshot go give a quick idea: Marui Hicapa 4.3 Les Bear Custom (just sharing the case ) and Marui 1911 TRP with Gunners.

  14. Amazing and probably the value of a small car. What a great hobby to have … I like those oldstyle SIGs.
  15. Guarder slide and guarder outer obviously work perfect like Shooters on Shooters. I have a Shooters outer and it doesn't fit any stock slide or PGC metal at all. I guess policy of shooters is: to fit a shooters piece, buy shooters piece. Drake, wow, very good shot. Seems to be excellent camera and a lot of talent in the trigger finger
  16. Oh, I remember … yes … well, they are in good hands obviously. But color is a bit strong to normal, isn't it? Otherwise very nice bright red original grips. somegirls: Do you have metal outer barrel installed? Doesn't look like the stock one. If so, which brand? Easy fit or need for a work over?
  17. Nice picture polishing on the MEU. Shooters Springfield grips? How is the original color? Poping red like the picture or more satin red brown?
  18. Yeah, baby, yeah … excellent taste, mate … Another fan of Heat and Al Pacino.
  19. Can anyone give infos on the version of the previous posted Glock GCNW 502? Strange rail for a Glock. Real steel? Newest frame version or custom? Reminds me on the actual rail design of FN FiveseveN USG. The pattern is pretty cool and professionally applied.
  20. Nice. Those Prog4 guys are mentioned quite a lot lately. The seem to offer interesting services. None the less, hope to see some more nice Para pictures soon. The old WA ones must be somewhere in good hands.
  21. Well, good points, thanks for the addition. With "And aside some random models and strange mix ups there" I adressed the KJW Para and the Cybergun strange Para model with Para frame and slide with Colt markings and Bomar sights. That was the mix up part. Thanks for the hint on "rounds". Now that I read it it is so clear and "bullet" sounds so stupid. Active and passive vocabulary, sorry guys. The double stacker thing seems to have been around the block quite a bit more than the Paras. I had no idea. Thanks. But I hope the interested guys get the idea about characteristic dif
  22. All three – classic 1911/single stack frames, ParaOrdnance and 2011 models – share same basis from M1911A1. Just with specific features, developments and characteristics, they developed over the years. Classic 1911: single stack design, average 7-9 bullets depending on magazine Typical ParaOrdnance double stacker design: basically a 1911 with double stack steel frame (they were the first parallel to FN Hipower to introduce the double stack principle for improving mag capacity) 12-14 bullets I guess. Don't get confused: ParaOrdnance also offers classic 1911 single stack models. But
  23. Nice Springfield. Would have been nice if you had left the grips clean. Makes it look like an accident now. But overall setting looks good. Any idea about this weired display lately? With that bloglike comment tree instead of normal page view? And this commend on top not to post in this old thread anymore? Already had that issue with the Glock picture thread. Got it: Display mode upper right option dropdown. Strange display mode changed. Never touched display settings.

Problem: discontinued for quite a few years now.
