  1. Coating seam on the top of the CTR stock is also very disappointing. Lakota would've put it on the bottom, out of sight. Interesting about the film differences. I had a two grand order done with no differences in tone. Must of all been the same roll.
  2. Heres mine with the Magpul CTR and Lakota bodywork: I binned the Magpul MIAD as no matter what I did (and I'm no stranger to engineering work) I couldn't get it to sound right. I also found the angle and width of the grip not to my taste. The thread was also ridiculously loose. The CTR on the other hand is a fantastic bit of kit. Even if it really is a complicated solution to a problem that doesn't really exist, it still looks sweet. Also good to remember that the Magpul hydro coating and Lakota coating are NOT the same and have different shades.
  3. Lol..... I think any TM AK thats been apart more than a few times is missing all the tabs. I know mine is.
  4. I must be one of the few people that can actually empty a whole mags worth of BB's on one gas charge..... Agree totally about the sights. I'll confess that I popped down to Games Worshop and purchased a small pot of skull white acrylic paint and a fine brush and touched up the front and rear sights a la Glock to make targeting a little easier and alot faster. Good thing is that its easy to remove (not permament) and only takes a second to touch up if need be. I spent all of last week down in the ABA's CQB arena practicing with it. It's a total beast. On the warmer days it was chrono
