  1. I found it in a shop here in Tokyo. Strangely enough they haven't appeared at redwolf or any of the other big retailers yet and I've confirmed that it is the fact the real magpul pts pmag from various sources. The build quality is very good, much better than any plastic mag I have ever encountered. It is indeed made from polycarbonate and has thick walls and a specially made inner. Too bad that the colour which they state as Dark earth isn't dark earth at all. Now to the bad part; it's highcap. Why oh why. you can also see the internals through the see-through glass which, although
  2. My new cqbr. Most is Magpul, with a casv on top. Built from the ground up entirely from custom parts (whether that is a good thing or not...). Still missing a few minor parts (rear sight for example) and some paint here and there but this'll do for the moment.
  3. hokeyplyr48: Yeah I did... To be honest I'm actually really considering wearing the whole gun down now to make it look better
  4. My 416 with airbrushed multicam. H&K 416
  5. This is my all-metal and wood beauty. Sig Sauer P226 Tactical With Advanced Armaments Evolution suppressor (KA)
  6. I don't think I've posted these pictures here... The top three are of me and the rest of my teammates in the field and show Multicam in an environment in which it works pretty well; Ruined buildings.
  7. They are really nice, aren't they They allow for a very fast, smooth draw and also cover the whole mag (works superbly with ranger pulls), allowing for greater camouflage efficiency and protection of the magazine bodies. Besides, they can be mounted in layers, so that you can fit more mags onto your rig if needed. Good choice!
  8. I believe I might have posted these elsewhere but well, they are of me in the field anyway.
  9. On request I'll post my gear here in the gear thread with a complete kitlist. It has been posted elsewhere so sorry to the forum trolls for posting again Kitlist: Bates M-9 Desert Assault Boots (Olive Mojave, non-metallic) Blackhawk Riggers Belt Blackhawk SERPA holster (Multicammed) CIRAS Sling Crye Combat Shirt (w. elbow pads) Crye Combat Pants (w. knee pads) Crye Multicam Ordnance Dump Pouch Crye Multicam Condor Hydration Carrier (Camelbak Omega inside) Crye Multicam Condor pouches (M4 mag open topped, double pistol mag, admin, utility, gadget) Crye Mul
  10. Of course we should, FarEast But the only reason I have more time is that I sleep less, haha
  11. meldamine: hahaha, that was fun
  12. uscmCorps: Looks comfy! But how does it work when you turn your torso, or bend to the side? Like you say, I suppose everyone has one place they like best, hehe. Nice pictures by the way
  13. It is the light from the window to the right reflecting on it... I think I will spray the NVG mount tan in fact, to do away with more black.
  14. uscmCorps: Yeah, I was thinking pretty much the same thing... We'll see how things turn out. Alternatively I give it a very light coat of one of the base MC colours (like you said, but I haven't decided yet. I've tried many different placements of the pistol and I found this to be the one that fits me best. I used to have it on my belly but found it to be very disturbing when going prone. The same applies to a chest placement. And when I tried mounting it on the belt it interfered with the vest. I really don't like dropleg holsters as they hamper leg movement but this fits just nicely
  15. Hahaha, I might just as well
  16. TheAverageAsian: I actually have an Underarmour hood, but I don't use it unless it gets a bit colder. Then, about the receiver; I've been thinking of whether to multicam it or not.... It does have its charm being as it is, especially since it is a HK416 and it is sad to lose the markings. On the other hand, I should just drop the airsofters attitude and do that one as well. The hydration tube is on it's way, I wouldn't multicam the pistol though, unless I really went for a complete multicam look (which is tempting though ). The best possible camouflage effect would of course be to have every s

  18. Hoot: Actually I've been laying low for about a month since I'm in Europe on a business/pleasure trip I'll get started on the rest of it when I get back to Japan. I use Mr.Hobby thinner. It is important to find the right ratio of paint vs. thinner as it is often different between types of colour and brand. For Mr.Colour (the brand I use) it is roughly 2:1, but the best thing is to try oneself.
  19. No, that is an Angs Battery Box with a 9,6 V 1400 mAh Battery. They also make 8,4V and 10,8V batteries for it.
  20. Blindside: Yes, I use a very strong epoxy top coating but of course, eventually it will still start chipping off. All paintworks do Got my serpa holster done today.
