  1. best bet to get a hold of John / Blastyman is on the Edmonton Airsoft Forums: http://www.edmontonairsoft.net/forums/index.php He's an excellent dude. Ask him about his .50 Cal project lol .. it's *fruitcage* unbelievable! egg
  2. there are many different makes of real steel M14 stocks. The best candidate for conversion to an airsoft stock would be a "big red birch". Birch because it's stronger than walnut, "big red" are M14 stocks that have a beefier grip area than standard M14 stocks. A guy I know who did his (Blastyman on that AirsoftPlayers.com thread) based it on a Big Red Birch stock. Time will tell how it holds up. Of relevance is that G&G are planning to sell a Walnut wood stock for the G&G M14 for $100. Would seem to be much easier, albeit more expensive, to convert a G&G wood stock to a
  3. Excellent stuff! I bought a real steel sight rail from Doc Rak. It looks a lot like the KV rails, tho no built in folding sights. Fit onto my TM G36 nicely and looked great imo. Thanks for taking the time to write this stuff up. egg
  4. Some AWESOME G36 in this thread! Mine is my first Airsoft Gun. I think it's the dumb luck that I chose a G36 as a first AEG. It's an outstanding platform for upgrading & personalising. Love to see other folks' projects. Love that AG36! egg
  5. Eotech 551, works with NV as it's got an IR holo emitter as well as the normal one. egg
  6. I put an end cap on it. You can actually get this part from H&K, but the one I used was an airsoft replica. It just makes it lighter and easier to wield. There's no recoil in an airsoft rifle and for a support gun role accuracy is not really that critical, so I run it without the stock. I put it back on for a weekend and took it off as soon as I got home, much prefer it without the bulk and weight of the stock. I actually find it much more comfortable with the end cap. egg
