  1. Thanks! Will be sure to check that.
  2. Anyone know the best way to stain/paint hard plastic like the handguards and stock plastic on the Type 56-2? I've been wanting to paint the real stock plastic dark/wood brown for the longest time.
  3. To the post above me: You owe me a new pair of pants. And underwear.
  4. That's *fruitcage* fantastic. It's like watching Transformers.
  5. Snigel, that's *fruitcage* beautiful.
  6. Can anyone say beauty and the beast?
  7. What the...where did you....how did you fit Romanian foregrips onto an AKS-74U?!?! I've been trying to for the longest time, but I couldn't find any Romanian foregrips that fit Krinkovs!
  8. From handling a mate's RS SVD, we've noticed that with such a freaking long barrel, the only thing to get this beauty accuracy is for it to shoot above 1.5 joules. We tried putting in an M100, with everything stock, and accuracy was pants. Put the stock spring back, shoots *****ing hot, but straight, extremely extremely straight. And far. And this is with a polished stock barrel.
  9. Oh my god sigma, that 74 looks AMAZING. Beautifully aged, but the pistol grip is really turning me off.
  10. Grim, your AKs are seriously the best I've seen on this forum topic. Keep making more variations!
  11. seriously, that was a fantastic review . Is it possible for you to make a video on a full mag dump? Wanted to see how a full auto empty would fare in that cold Canadian weather.
  12. I just jizzed looking at your AMD Geri. And the 104?
  13. From what I've read, you most likely want the real Russian mounting bracket. You need to install it onto the Type 56, and it requires a bit of drilling. I'm not too fond of my technical skills, so I gave up long ago. http://www.tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/rail_install.html That's the tutorial, and I think they sell great quality mounts, along with authentic red dots, sights, etc. EDIT: If anyone wants to do a tutorial on the Real Sword, post the video!
  14. Oh good lord, this isn't gonna work out then. God damn the 56-2 folding stock! Taking this to a real smith is already going to cost around or over $100, and the stock itself, ugh... Thanks for the help Snigel!
  15. So, Snigel, could you or anyone here tell me how you slapped that East German side folder on? I have the Type 56-2 with the folding stock, but I have no idea how to disassemble that! Was there extensive work in putting that on, and would I have to go to a real steel gunsmith for this work? My Romanian wood furniture just doesn't look right without a wire stock....
