_Samuel_ obviously this replica is not for you, please do not waste your time (and ours) and your money with a CQB, go buy an AEG or a GBB pistol, and don't worry about GBBRs for now. Amen, I will chip in to buy a springer, though I would like to see an official autopsy on this one.

you forgot to warn him about the dangers of tight-bore barrels and hairy palms.

Wondering if the KJW's are still updated (improved) every once in a while by the manufacturer. I remember T-HUM saying he had noticed some revisions. I was waiting to see if a different and potentially as reliable system would be released by another manufacturer but it seems more and more likely that this is not going to happen.

"KWA GBBRs are junk" Curious what experience you have with KWA GBBR's. I was under the impression they hadn't released any yet.
  5. If you like to see anything specific, speak up Very nice, how did you manage the short barrel? Also, if you could test which parts are steel at some point it would be much appreciated. Gratzi.
  6. 417, amen. Preferably in the 12 inch version.
  7. FYI, I got mine from Tiger111HK. They'll ship it any way you like, though I would make sure they fully understand exactly how you want it shipped. Also, I chose the standard airmail option for $18 (total: $170 shipped) and it took about the same time as SpeedPost.

Very nice, I'm a big fan of that look. One of those C-More replica's with the rear LMT site might be interesting. If you have chrono I would be interested to know the before and after FPS with the new barrel. Also, is removing the front site just a matter of tapping out some pins?
  9. So maybe I have too much time on my hands, but I couldn't resist: I posted a comment on the WE YouTube video where they introduce the WE as the most realistic KAC PDW replica in existence. I asked if they edited the part where they shot 2 mags of C02 through it and the a$$ end falls off. WE deleted my post almost immediately and banned me from further posts, which is understandable. It's pretty dissapoointing and really shows the character of the company that they haven't addressed this. Since they tout this as the most realistic KAC PDW replica I would very much like to ask them if after

  11. mercy me. Is WE offering to replace those that break (which seems like all of them).
  12. Right, I understand. I think people (rightly) held WE to a higher standard since they used to come on here and talk themselves up a bit (while being very helpful I should add). When they release these new models and people experience problems they take more flak than the usual manufacturer. To me it's truly a mystery why they just can't get things right. It's been said before: they obviously have the cash to design new models yet they lack the business sense to design things right; they put the cart before th horse and thier reputation suffers because of it.
  13. I don't know much about that, but I think that's a weak defense to be honest. Throwing in a foam buffer is also treating what looks to be a major design flaw symptomatically. Hopefully they have something more substantial planned. People who purchase the M14 will be taking the ultimate leap of faith. Anyway, looking forward to a review from TWAT (no offense).
  14. Tweaking and maintenance on a gun is one thing (2 actually), but having the a$$ fall off of your gun after limited use is something else. WE needs to get their act together. I also don't think they deserve praise for fixing issues that should have been addressed during the R&D process. With most of these GBBR's you seem to know what to expect, i.e., which parts will fail on which guns. With WE every release seems to suffer from some goofy design flaw. Yours was the only positive review I think I've seen on this. Like I've said, I want to believe in WE but they don't make it easy.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Since you seem to communicate with these companies please advise them that there are some superficial buyers out there (such as myself) that wouldn't mind spending a little extra for some decent trades. KWA is in league with MagPul on something, maybe they can work out a TM arrangement while they're at it!

So you must be at least a little familiar with the KWA system if you are recommending the TK system over it. Can you fill me in a little on their system? Does it resemble the WA system the most? 'Force Velocity' sounds impressive, but I think it's more impressive to not name your system at all and and have it perform great (a'la' the TK system). Form is a distant second over function for me, but I'd like to give the KWA a chance if they are emerging from their laboratory with something that actually smells a little innovative. Thanks in advance. DB
  17. Like someone said, its just airsoft terminology (specific to WE). People had a problem with being able to see the brass tube (which is part of WE's gas system design) through the ejection port in the original design. I always thought it looked like a round chambering but people were turned off by it so WE came out with the 'open bolt' design. If anything it seems the new design would be less efficient, but I don't really know a thing about it.
