crash what you have to know is people in the Ak thread are very critical over other peoples weaponary just get used to it oh yeh and we hate tactical aks(well i do anyway!)

the stock finish is too clean! i took to my aks74u with some sand paper to make it look a bit more worn and then at a weekend game i fell over and slid on the concrete with my gun underneath me which broke one of my magazines and scratched up the gun quite nicely!

Well to be fair we only see the same stuff from the same people most of the time!! we need more people to get into the AKs and none of the railed ###### either!!

lol blue tape is a no no for me especially if i get put on the red team at skirmishing and the enemy is the blue team...

I fight in woodland why the hell would i use blue tape lol the orange magazines are obvious enough as it is

see i wouldnt say the looks is particulary realistic but i think it gives it more of a used look and less like a toy, the condition of things is obviously different between magazines in real life as each one has been put through different enviroments and so on and therefore you rarely get 2 the same, so i think they way they look is a massive improvement from the VFC standard look.

What i did was Krylon the magazine black, then sand away the majority of the krylon until it has a dirty look to it and then i used RIT Liquid Scarlet Dye and dyed the magazine and then sanded some of the colour away until i got the look i was going for It was very time consuming especially when you have 10 mags to do but i think it was well worth it!!

The part i have labelled should push the pin through the hole so that it holds the top handguard in place, it is possible that piece of plastic has snapped off of the part i have labelled(that all depends if it is a plastic made weapon or not i guess) and that is why it is not being pushed through...

Very nice indeed now all it needs it to be scratched up a little, but as you just got it i imagine you dont want to do that just yet it took me a couple of months before i got the steel wool out on my AKS74U.
