Its a madbull rail? I was under the impression that marui obtained the licensing through madbull and made the rail themselves. If im not mistaken, the Recce rail is in a length that isnt made by madbull. isnt it a 10 inch? I could be wrong though On another note, has anyone had issues with using a BAD lever on their sopmods? I installed one on my socom, and the bolt lock feature wont function. Without it, works fine

have you tried firing the gun? My cqbr bolt catch won't enable just by touching it unless its being fired. And my socom does the opposite. Either way both function exactly the same. So fire the gun and see if it works

Does anyone know if its possible to mount a UBR on a socom? I figured it somehow possible if you buy a real steel one, but im not sure. If anyone can verify, that would be awesome

Original handguard is not 1:1 scale. It's larger, to be able to accommodate a battery. with this new handguard you can only fit a lipo, if that.

The gun has amazing externals, but internally its nothing special. It has a lot of gimmicks and cool features but in my opinion lose excitement fast. I'm already selling mine, but a large number of people love their ACRs, sadly I'm not one of them. But I wouldn't base your decision off my opinion.

I noticed today that my socom's bolt catch sticks out more and has a more positive click to it, versus my cqb the bolt catch feels really light to the touch to engage it. when i look inside the magwel of the cqbr, i cant engage the lever deep enough like the socom. Either way the bolt lock works, its just strange to find this inconsistency in a marui

The tm is actually the same price, so basically it comes down to quality rather than price. but i've noticed both have different notches cut out from them. This will be going onto a socom, since the cqbr barrel wasnt made for front wiring im wondering if it will be a problem. And i've seen the dytac barrels, but im not sure on their quality. I noticed on those the hard barrel ring is fixed rather than a seperate piece. Basically the end result, the barrel has to be able to free float while allowing wires to run through it

does anyone here have experience with the laylax short barrels? Im debating to buy a marui oem cqbr barrel or just go for the laylax one?

I took mine apart too and looks just like yours internally, I can figure out why I cant adjust mine correctly =/ mounted on my m4 or acr, i cant view the dot with my face on the cheek rest. only when i fold the stock, and then view it from a weird angle.

is your stock fully extended when doing this?

anyone interested in swapping outter barrels? interested in a cqb-r outter barrel, to swap for my socom barrel.

Website works perfect for me. Apparently the rails weren't up to mil spec dimensions so they had to recall them. I cant vouch for this, just what I read on here. Im pretty sure they'll pop up soon, just hold on a bit. Im itching for a tan scar badly, hopefully we'll see that second batch soon, along with the black release!

Didn't pts say they were only going to do on version of the acr? So that you'd basically have to buy all the parts..if i knew this was coming out I would've just purchased this and swapped lowers with someone.

I just purchased the 11.5 barrel setup, and when i try and lock it in, it only locks half way in. its tight, no wobble, but is that bad? the latch only locks in about 3 clicks.
