Quick question, I've been eyeing this pistol as I need a new sidearm. I read a review that those sold in the US lack the XDM trades, just say -40. if this is true, has anyone gotten one from out the US through customs?

What's the biggest LiPo battery that will fit the stock handguard? And the real size? I currently use a NiCd (or NiMH - don't remember) but switching to LiPo soon. Thanks in advance.

I did and gained like 20 fps. I'm chronoing at 403 fps with the only changes the 6.01 Raven barrel and a 110 spring.

Nikon, right now I am using a stock ACR with a 110 spring, shooting 385fps with 0.2s. I want to use a Lipo, but I am not sure the stock internals can take it. Are you running a Lipo with your current setup (using the Modify AUG kit)? What other parts did you upgrade? My target is to shoot close to 400fps with .25's and 25 ROF (I guess that translates into probably using a 130 spring and an 11.1V Lipo). They have feed issues, when they are full and there's enough compression in the spring they'll feed flawlessly, once you have 15-20 rounds left the spring doesn't push as hard and there's lots of misfeeds, you'll get around 100 consistent rounds with these.

I wasn't trying to imply that it was an specific ACR design blunder, but it does somewhat kill how ambidextrous the gun is. I'll try it out this weekend and see if I like it.

So I just got the adjustable folding stock today and... yes it is very nicely built, but I feel it was a waste because I am left handed, and I am kinda short (5' 5'') so the folding stock removes the only sling mount that works for me which is the one at the base of the fixed stock, the folding stock has it, but on the other side only, if I mount my sling there when I'm in the firing position the sling goes over the stock, if you do it slowly it's ok, but in the heat of the battle I'm sure it'll get in the way, I experienced with an AK before. What's the proper way to release the spring in this gun after a game? Flick the trigger until you hear the motor move or until you hear one shot? I think I didn't release it right and now it shoots pretty slow.

I'm looking to upgrade to a tight bore barrel but I want to confirm the length before I buy. I took the inner barrel out and it measured 15 in not the 14.5 that I've seen stated. Are barrel lengths not end to end? (Sorry, first time upgrade for me). I read a review that the barrel is 375 mm, which is pretty close to 15 inches. Before it is pointed out that I should search the thread, the topic search sucks because even though it returns results, the links never point to the actual reply and it's a 65 page thread. I'll try that, thanks. I read somewhere that this (putting the barrel back while the hopup was on) would break the hopup unit and it would need replacement. Anyone experienced that? Also, when I take the lower receiver out, the part of the hopup unit in the upper receiver is pretty loose, I can move it a lot with my finger. Is that normal? Is it supposed to align and fix when I put the lower receiver back?

Very good info on the Masada on this thread. I tested mine today extensively and found out that my hopup is basically doing nothing. All the way out is just about the same as all the way in, with the bb's (Madbull 0.2 bios) curving a bit down. Couldn't get them to go straight let alone curve up. Took the barrel off and took at look at my hopup, bucking seems ok. Bit of oval shape but to my knowledge that is normal, plenty of lube. The nub is where I think the issue is, the two pics attached show all the way in and all the way out, it seems to barely move. Opinions? Has anyone had this problem?
