So the grips are a no-go (not that big a deal, it was mainly an aesthetic choice anyway), but what about the Guarder Navy frame (no interest in the slide as I don't want to screw up my gas efficiency)? Any problems installing it? How does Shooters Design compare to Guarder? Thanks! The 'silencer' is actually a cheap JG / ACM (I can't remember exactly) hollowed out tracer unit - I've been meaning to stuff it with foam for a while now, but in the mean time it's primarily for that 'badass' factor...

Fair enough - not only am I UKARA registered, I have been for over 2 years now. The hassle I was referring to was more along the lines of importing AEGs from other countries in general; rather than the AUG specifically! Primarily, I wanted to know people's opinions towards the Classic Army AUG A1. Whether they recommended it, or not? Whether they could suggest a good alternative, or not? Etc. Quick AUG related question (thinking here's a good a place as any to ask this) - I'm looking to get myself a Military model (that, or a Tokyo Marui Colt M733 - but that doesn't matter): at the moment I'm edging towards the Classic Army, but it's going to be a lot of hassle to get one into the UK. Any thoughts, recommendations, or suggestions (figuring current owners would know more about this sort of thing)?

Here's my offering from Tokyo Marui - Biohazard (Resident Evil) Samurai Edge Standard Mod with full metal outer barrel... I appreciate it's probably blasphemous to replace any part on this "collector's" piece - I just wanted to get that same shine as the guide rod! Thoughts?! PS: I'm liking the PX4s I'm seeing here (assuming they're the Tokyo Marui models); are they any good to skirmish with (spares, holsters, magazines, etc)?
