  1. Woodycam pics, for those who care. Tan looks awesome over Woodycam, it's official. Is there anything Tan gear can't do? Click to be taken to devART, where you can enlarge it - saves me hosting a HUGE file on my webspace Mmmm, mud. Lovely, lovely mud. Kitlist is near enough the same as last time, with a few tweaks, but I'll post it if someone asks
  2. It looks less homely, in my opinion. (Looks) very clean, but very spartan. Like a hospital, I suppose, but without the dead people and chance of contracting MRSA.
  3. Bit of porn for y'all - my new Spyderco UK Pen Knife, along with the rest of my general EDC stuff (except keys, oops). Strider HAK Talon is there too, although it's illegal to carry The TAD Gear capsule is an excellent bit of kit, especially with the crowned strike bezel, so that's there too
  4. Yep, I'd like to see this as well, or at least some way of making a public comment on someone's profile without attributing a 'good' or 'bad' tag to it.
  5. On the subject of '"Is that a PGC kit?", I just spotted something on mine. Flip it over to look at the markings on the frame, and it's marked: 'SIGAPMS' is probably a sure sign that it's a PGC kit
  6. I've got a couple of nice shots of the DB-L in the Knife Pics thread. Aside from that, not sure what you want I had it out last weekend hacking up long reedy grass (oops) so I could get a good view. Cut through HUGE clumps of grass like a hot, errr, Strider through butter. Max Grips were about $60 or $70 plus shipping, if I remember right. Superb gloves, and a mile better than the Hatch ones I used before (went through 2 pairs over 4 weeks and one skirmish...).
  7. Gloves are SWMS Max Grip NTs. Boots in the ACU set are Meindl Desert Fox/Safaris, and in the DCU set they're Danner Agitator 45 GTXs.
  8. *is bored of ballcaps* Also, my ballcap is still airing from this last weekend. It was SOAKED with sweat (and I mean that, I could have wrung it out).
  9. I buy real kit because it won't fall to bits on me. Had that happen with replica kit before and it SUCKS.
  10. Now with added DCUs and a few tiny little tweaks! MAHOOSIVE PHOTOSHOPPED PIC HERE
  11. Magpul M93 stock and HSGI pouches. I'd put good money on it being real
  12. I fell on the poor thing twice yesterday and screwed up the stock. Took the stock off, removed a couple of bits of broken plastic and put it back on and it's good to go again. I swear this thing is indestructable - despite falling on it, none of the metal has a mark on it, let alone a crack.
  13. Love them so far, comms is beautifally clear both ways, and the noise cancelling seems far better than on the Comtacs - much less 'clippy'.
  14. Dude, take the release cable and run it under the thin cordura it's currently lying over. There's a slot in there for it, so it doesn't snag on stuff. I missed it first time, too!
  15. Wanted a nice light loadout for summer, especially woodland games, as well as one that could be comfortably used over a fleece in colder weather. This is what I arrived at. No pistol, and pretty much only the bear essentials. Note the whistle - at one of my local sites, the playable area is so huge that they recommend you keep a survival whistle on your at all times. Hence... Gun is an ICS MP5A5 with a flashlight foregrip and 10 STAR 30rd mags. Strider DB-L fixed blade can be just about made out in the 3rd pic down. It's behind my elbow, with the sheath mainly fixed in place und
  16. BULLE RRV-replica? It's definately not an Eagle one because of the big side-release buckles on the front.
  17. Yeah, for his USAF PJ impression
  18. HSGI with flap is a good holster. I had one, sold it because thigh rigs always have (and always will) annoy me, then got another one for my (then) new P226. The previous one was fine. The P226 one drops mags like a MFer. You can modify it, but even following the instructions provided by HSGI themselves on how to modify it to prevent this, it still seems to do it. If you're not using a P226, though, you should be ok.
  19. The 6004 SUCKS in woodland. I used mine once and it was a frickin' dirt shovel - try crawling with it on your leg and your gun gets muddier than your chest. Great. I've yet to find a thigh holster I'm happy with. The 6004 is too big and bulky, and scoops up dirt. The HSGI is a good design but releases P226 mags like nothing else. For woodland, if I even run a pistol, I put it in an M4 mag pouch on my weak side. It keeps it out of the way, it keeps it clean, and although the draw is slower than from a dedicated rig, it's fast enough for woodland, where the chances are I'm not going to
  20. Can I suggest Bowflage camo paint? It's removable, unlike Krylon, which means it comes off easier in the field, but it won't leave a permanent mark on your gun or real-steel parts.
  21. I'll move this into the 'Pics of you in the field' thread for you now Great pics! EDIT: Or not...
  22. I've been stalking a pair for ages. One came up, I had the cash, so why not. Well, I sort of have the cash
  23. Just scored some Lib-IIs so now I'm DEFINATELY over 1k
  24. If you mean $1000, I can play £1000, might be a little way off there yet (although probably not much!)... Eagle Industries CIRAS Maritime, OD 2no. BHI Double Mag Pouches, OD 2no.
