  1. Bit of a bugger with your CO2 nozzle, does make me kinda happy that I've stuck to green gas so far, though I was thinking of trying to snag a CO2 conversion kit for my rifle to increase it's usability in the UK. I'm very tempted to pick up one of those new TSC nozzles. I really should get my hands on one of the RA-Tech NPAS kits too, I'd like a bit more scope for adjustment of FPS to keep my M4 "site-legal"
  2. Top: ICS M4/416 with the "HK417" stock off EBB, the 416 parts are off the plastic bodied JG 416 Bottom: WE GBB M4 with a DD MK18 RIS, Magpul PTS sights and an asap sling mount I got with the RIS. And no, that's not "weathering" on the upper receiver, I was going to make it into a 10.5" 416, but gave up and got the DD RIS instead. Ideally I should repaint it, but I can't be bothered.
  3. I emailed Wetti last night about the 416, apparently it'll be out in 2-3 weeks, didn't ask about the KAC PDW, or the M14
  4. If they do, it's not on their website, 'cause that one's the same as the one the order info gets emailed from
  5. Yeah, I've noticed that you've managed to get two orders shipped to you from them in the last month, and in just over that time I've had a confirmation email, and an update to "processing" email. both within a week of the order being place, and sod all else since. They've just been sent a politely worded threat of PayPal dispute. If PayPal do nothing, I'll have a chat with my bank about it.
  6. the above look like the old hop up rubbers If memory serves, that's for the GG mags
  7. I've heard nothing from them after I politely enquired (last week) about the progress of an order I placed nearly a month ago. Will be giving them a swift kick up the backside soon enough.
  8. That black one looks very, very angry. Also, they're both adorable our most recent (taken last year): Shaun (the upside down white one), and Billy (very high attention requirements) Don't have Billy anymore, he ran off about a year ago , though to be honest, he was a nuisance at times. And Shaun's become a better cat now that he can get some attention
  9. If you're not interested in keeping the extension, then keep at the flashider, it'll come off eventually. Mine did, though I used a pair of pliers to hold the extension at the front-sight end, so it's thread is damaged. If you want to try and keep the extension in decent condition, then try and find a pipe wrench in your local DIY store, looks something like this: Example pipe wrench. There should be strap-fitted versions available, rather than chain, like the one in the link. It should help with providing grip whilst trying to remove the flashider.
  10. If my ICS '74 is anything to go by, then you could feasibly get away with a 590mm running in to the PBS1. No pictures, however, sold the barrel a couple of weeks a go.
  11. Am I right in thinking that this thing is the best choice for shot-to-shot consistancy: WE Valve Assembly? Basically swapping the Brass outer for the Steel outer I already have?
  12. It's not the clearest picture, and I can't get any more of it, as I sold it along time ago to Screaming Weasel, but that's an AK47 with black furniture in the middle.
  13. Top: ICS M4 base with JG HK416 gas block/front sight, rear sight, foregrip and receiver rail fitted Bottom: WE M4 base with VFC HK416 foregrip and JG HK416 gas block and sights fitted. I'm well aware of the discrepancies, but I love 'em to bits regardless. Partly because I can't leave well alone, partly because I wanted a specific look (for the 10.5") and partly because I really wanted a 14.5" one, but not more rifles.
  14. GBBs are awesome, aren't they I'd love it if someone came out with an HK416 upper receiver and front end, or conversion kit. Even if my M4/416 thing isn't exactly accurate to any particular rifle, and fairly unique (atm), I'd actually like to have the receiver rail match the RIS rail.

    AGM M4 GBB

Only a week? It'll probably be near a month before it arrives, based on my past dealings with them. And I'm tempted by this particular GBB, having recently acquired a WE. Though I really shouldn't spend more money
  16. Totally should've waited until the CQBR was released, as I needed a 10" ish barrel for this to work properly (along with an accurate upper receiver, but I doubt we'll see one of those any time soon), but here's my WIP. And yes, I'm well aware of the discrepancies, and that godawful orange flash hider (it'll have to do until the CW-CCW thread adaptor arrives). and the front sight may well be on backwards.... soooo much fun to shoot, though. That's a VFC HK416 front end, it took a lot of work to fit, but damn, it looks nice. No, I didn't sacrifice the VFC, it belonged to s
  17. I've noticed that too, and I'm trying to get mine down from ~500ish to around 300-350ish, would've been useful to get a low power assembly
  18. One thing I noticed with mine, is that the inner barrel didn't seem to have any support inside the outer barrel. The result being that it had several mm of movement at the flash hider end. This won't do accuracy any favours. I fixed it (mostly, the movement's down to tiny fractions of a mm now) using a small brass collar from one of my AK hopups.
  19. I've seen the real deal for US$260 (kalinka optics), and £210 (rusmilitary)
  20. I don't think you get screws with the wood kits, you certainly don't with the ABS kits I've had. TM AK47 Full Stock screws are as follows: 4mm diameter, 0.7mm thread * 16mm length. Countersunk. Or rather, these are what I got to replace mine. One will probably require cutting down a bit to fit, either that, or drill through where the wire goes on the stock tang.
  21. He is quite simply awesome. Puts us duct tape and hacksaw modders to shame.
  22. Thanks. I've considered using the M1100, but got stuck on the "extracting shell from magazine" mechanism. I have no idea if the M1100's mechanism would cope with it, or, to be honest, how the whole thing works.
  23. put this in the shotgun picture thread, but it fits here: AEG & Saiga 12 based shotgun. Real steel Saiga fore grip. The front end is aluminium tube inside copper tube, with some steel tube forming the ends of the gas tube. "sight" assembly (it's flat, apart from some badly countersunk screws) is 10mm wide aluminium strips. Couldn't figure out how to stick two copper tubes in parallel, so I araldited them. Would've had a 3-round hop chamber, but it had an effective range of a few feet, with all the power of a gentle prod (couldn't penetrate a single sheet of paper at point bla
  24. Thanks, it's a real-deal handguard, no way I could create something like that. With the multi shot chamber, single rounds were fine, but because of one or two minor problems, anything more than that would be fired no more than a few feet, even with a spring putting out around 360fps (gearbox is doing 280, it's a stock TM). So I did the sensible thing and went back to the standard hop. Got all my bits still, so I'll probably have another crack at it when I get more room to work in.
