Spudgun
I've been looking through some reviews of the Cyma AK47s. Some say that the Cyma isn't very good, while others say it's the biz. One thing I did notice (took me a while though), is the age of these reviews. The poor reviews are older than the good ones. Have Cyma upped their game and produced a better version of the AK?
the_viral_phantom
I believe that cyma have upgraded the ak series they produce by using a TM compatible hop, brass barrel and so on. Viral.
djl
They've also inproved the quality of their external finishing, most notably on the barrel assembly and gas tube, which are now a very rufty-tufty looking matt black and grey, as opposed to the very glossy finish seen on CM.028 models of a year ago. Not always the most important thing, I know, but it shows their willingness to go back and improve on their prior releases, inside and out, rather than say CM.028? Been there, done that. Time to move on.
Pinkfloyd
Are they better internally? I want an AK but am short on money (damn you Marushin M1 Garand and GF's Thomson project...) and don't feel like either buying a VFC or upgrading a meerly "decent" clone... renegadecow
^ usually if you don't upgrade them any more than a 1J spring. And the precision isn't all that great.
