Kerbdog Posted November 17, 2007 Report Share Posted November 17, 2007 I had one of these for two years, it was a fantastic gun, very solid and well built. A few things i would recommend that while aren't urgent will make your gun a joy. 1: Get a PEQ battery box, this will give you more than enough juice for a full weekend shoot. 2: A tightbore barrel will tighten up the grouping somewhat. 3: Get a 1 Joule spring and if you feel the need some metal bushings. These will turn this gun into a great gun. There are barrel kits made by PDI which allow you to turn it into a CQB length M4 which is really handy and looks the business. If you decide to go for a new metal receiver the S-System takes a particular type made by Zeke and another brand which i don't remember just now. This also makes the gun slightly more involved to take apart to access the gearbox though as the SIR top rail becomes part of the receiver build. My old S-system. Link to post Share on other sites
