Wege
it fell apart? or you were pulling it apart? Do you have ALL the parts there? Like the frame?.. because that is where things will be slid into.. it won't just be placed there at all.. sorry. To me, not quite as simple as the TM 5.
RockDog
I was changing the hammer for a custom one, and the other bits fell out of the compartment. I have a new frame etc for it to go into as well. Thanks

RockDog
hmm. can I ask what that large piece is then? (not having my manual handy right this second) thats the inner frame which hold all the hammer mechanism. then that slots into the top of the plastic lower frame. thanks
hkssr20det
This is a bit hard to explain without pictures. Man, I might be able to take some for you tomorrow and explain. Isn't there a strip down guide around here?
Romulus
There is one for a WE 1911 but their hammer mech is different since it is bult into the actual frame rather than a metal insert. I have yet to see one for a TM 1911. Maybe I'll put one together if I have nothing else to do some day.
RockDog
As Rom said the strip down guide is for the WE1911, I was using that up until that stage. But now im in a pickle. Think I will have to get another 1911 tomorrow and use that as a guide. Will let you know how I get on.
