Dock trinE
The only lube I have right now is some silicon gel (cylinder grease). Will that work for a GBB?
ED-SKaR
The only lube I have right now is some silicon gel (cylinder grease). Will that work for a GBB? Kind of, its probably too thick and will gum up the mechanism. but it should prevent wear like other lube and beeing silicon based, wont melt the rubber
The Gopher
I use gear lube on my slide rails and inner slide rail (on the slide itself) on my 93r2. Works great, but I wouldn't advise it in dusty weather. It holds very well, even after steady bursts of full auto and three-round burst. ;-)
Glenn
I like a thicker lube on the chamber/slide interface of my pistols. I use moly paste, but have used silicone grease in the past. It certainly won't do any harm, just don't slather it on their too liberally.
