McArthur
I have to ask, how good is the hammock to sleep in? I'm 200 pounds (Tall, rower, not little fat kid) and the few times I have tried to rest in a hammock I find that I get a sore spine and that the hammock's sometimes really strain to hold me properly without anything ripping/breaking/bending. askeytheman
Unsure that the hammock is stretched far enough out for you to lie in. Ideally you should just about be able to touch both of the supports with feet and outstretched hands, make sure its tight! Hammocks are teh win!
twig
Gear for 24 hours? Pah, I've spent longer than that in a fire position. Personality the only extra kit I'd take would be a poncho, cut-down roll mat and softie.
Kingmob3
wet wipes beat soft TP any day, other than that I haven't been to an over niter where I've slept in the field. KM
