You CAN fit a mini 9.6V pack in, but not a large one. 2/3A cells all the way, I'm afraid, unless you've got the large foregrip. Link to post Share on other sites

Instead of then buying a larger battery I used two mini 8.4v 1500 connected in parallel and they just fit in with a bit of wiggling. Link to post Share on other sites
greg Posted October 8, 2008 Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 Flight power's 30C, 7.4v, 2000mah lipo will fit. It's the same size as an 8.4v mini, but gives a similar performance to a 9.6v 3600mah nimh. Don't be afraid of the big bad lipo, it is the way forward.
