Hi guys,

I have an M4 Systema Gearbox M120 and Am planning on Building an M110 based on an A&K SR25. I know the A&K gearboxes aren't bad but why not use my spare systema box?

Can a regular M4 Gearbox be made to fit an SR25? or is it indeed just an M4 gearbox with a longer nozzle?

Help on this matter would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks

The SR25 gearbox is longer in length so i dont think a standard version 2 will fit .I have modded my sr25 as it uses the same piston as the psg 1 and army r85 i bought a standard piston and piston spacer from airsoft world and filled the last 3 teeth off the sector gear and installed an m130 spring changes the fire selector switch to a standard m4/m16 so you can't select full auto and i am now able to use it at my local site as a semi auto sniper with uber fps :D

I think the SR25 has a slightly longer body, casuing some issues in trying to fit a V2 standard gearbox into it.

Might be best to transfer the gears from the systema gearbox over to the A&K gerabox as well as the other compatible parts, but you'll need a longer piston and nozzle.

I think that these two parts and a new nozzle are the only things you would have to replace to make the standard V2 box fit in the SR-25 body. You shouldn't need anything else if I remember right. Everything else in the box will remain standard version 2.
