Utty
MAG "100 round" low-cost plastic M16 magazines, my impressions so far: + feed well + light weight + sturdy construction + solid feel - actual capacity: ~80 BBs These cheap MAG midcaps are very good, except for the strangely low actual capacity. While doing some routine maintenance, I discovered something strange as I removed the plug in the bottom of the magazine in order to remove the spring: An ~8cm/3" polycarbonate-like rod behind the spring, with no apparent purpose. This was found in each of my 8 magazines. Removing the rod increased the BB capacity to ~93, while still feeding properly. Pretty weird, but there ya go.
Blackweell!
As far as I know, that rod is there to put some compression on the spring to make sure all the bb's actually come out...but if they work without it, winner! Thanks for the review Edited January 8, 2009 by Blackweell!
