aaron2310
I've got a JG G36C that occasionally locks up. It can be remedied by sticking a 10v (or around there) battery on it or by opening the gearbox up. I was wondering if it might be the motor or the gearbox that is causing the lockups and if replacing either or both might be the issue? I'm running it on a 8.4 mini (Firefox) but other than it's stock.
Bersy
Have you ran it on another battery to see if it locks up at all?
aaron2310
It originally started locking up on the standard JG one that came with it. I upgraded to the FireFox one and it's only happened a few times since. But it's still a concern for me. :/
Bersy
Hmmm has it ever been reshimmed since you bought it?
aaron2310
No. I don't know how. :/

Azulsky
I still say battery quality is the culprit
DamnLion
the JG motor and battery are not excellent pieces... I'd say you might want to replace the motor if you find yourself with the same issue after re-shimming.
ashman7286
mine did exactly the same thing from new........and it completely died after fitting a mosfet and M100 spring. im starting to lose confidence with JG, it seems like its problem after problem with my G36C. oh i solved mine by fitting a 9.6v batt, but like yours it still did it occasionally. aaron2310
the JG motor and battery are not excellent pieces... I'd say you might want to replace the motor if you find yourself with the same issue after re-shimming. I use FireFox's for everything. Have never had an issue with my TM P90 or ICS M4s or MP5s.
