Aitch
get an o-ring from your local hardware store, it'll do the job just fine, or soak the original in silicone oil to revamp it
Sonic Reducer
sorry to revive an old thread, but i had a breakthrough and thought it best to include it in the original thread for people facing the same problem. every so often i get a hankering to try to fix my sig, and tonight i finally figured it out. when you look at underside of the slide you should see the tab i am pointing to with a pencil on both sides of the slide. on one side of my sig the tab broke off. that tab is what part P226-10 presses on so spring P226-11 can push the piston back in place. so it looks like i'll have to either wait for an opportunity to pick up a 226 slide cheaply or until i can afford a full MBK
