swannie_2006
Hello gents, I have a rear-wired G&P M4 gearbox (with a G&P full metal AEG) that I want to re-do to be front wired. I want to use a PEQ box housed battery with it. So far I figured how to re-wire the gear box itself but I just don't know how to move the battery wires from the body into the front end. There is just not enough room for the wires to pass through the delta ring along with the barrel and hop assembly. If anyone has any ideas, please do share. thanks
Kipper
There should be a slot cut out in the bottom of the barrel. You put the gearbox in the lower receiver then put the upper on whilst passing the wires through the hole for the barrel. Then push the barrel in with the wires out of the gap in the barrel. Then put the delta ring on. Bit of a faff but it should go.
Guges Mk3
Before you do the above...you have to reroute and trim the wires to allow for it to go out the front of the mechbox.
ertgunner
you will need to install bullet adapters on the wires or take the front end off to slide the wires under the barrel.
aznriptide859
I've used 3mm connectors before - they're smaller and easier to get through the gun

Bersy
what's a bullet adapter? He just means buy some bullet connectors say 3mm ones so you can remove the gearbox from the front end if you ever need to take it apart. So say deans connector for your battery at the end then some wiring thats connected to your bullet connectors then the wiring goes to the gearbox. Ebay or component-shop.co.uk will have them
swannie_2006
I don't plan to take it apart very often.
