ED-SKaR
I was just wondering what the gas comp is like with a full metal TM P226? Much more than the 1911, even with metal slide and lots of FPS upgrades it should always finish a mag.

tinydata
Sorry if I confused you, I was going off of experience with my friends' various P226s. I will say that I like the trigger pull a lot more on the M1911 though. If you want a good compromise of accuracy, ergonomics, gas capacity, and durability, TM Hicapas with upgraded slides are fantastic.
steaktipz
I say TM P226. Pretty much everything you could want out of a pistol, and works great on green. Has good mag capacity and a nice light SA trigger pull. The decocker is a nice feature as well. Oh, and it also comes in CHROME STAINLESS! - You just gotta do it. . . snowman
All comes down to personal preference. You'll get more shots per mag out of a 226, just because it has a bigger gas reservoir. The trigger should always have less travel on a Single Action 1911 than on a DA P226 (or anything else) even in Airsoft form, but again it's a matter of taste. Personally, I can see all the virtues of the 1911 design, but I prefer the 226. Cheers.
