PlasticMag
Awhile back I received a suspension and warning points for 'bumping' a topic. I was pretty peeved by it at the time, as I didn't see a warning about 'bumping' threads in the US section, so I let it go and decided to come back to it later. Well, I did - I looked at the rules again and found that the 'bumping rules' thread or topic doesn't seem to exist! http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showannouncement=3&f=7 In the text of that announcement is a hotlink that goes to the front page. Doing a search for 'bumping' yeilds: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=quick_search&search_sort_by=date&search_sort_order=desc&search_term=bumping&search_filter_app[forums]=1&st=25 All of the relevant threads are in the UK side of the sales section only. May I suggest that they be either consolidated or moved to the American and International sales forums as well?
Rob15
Although it doesn't specifically mention sales it does cover the whole of the forums. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=386 Spam and Irrelevant Posts Keep all your posts relevant. Adding posts that contribute nothing to the conversation (spam) will be deleted. Do not 'bump' your threads by posting irrelevant information or just "bump". It is spam and will be deleted. Persistent spamming will result in warning points being added to your account, a suspension, or a ban from the forums. crackisbad also posted an announcement which is at the top of all the UK and US sales forums and iirc has been for quite some time, as you can see from the link the thread was found by going through the US Sales and AEGs subforum. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showannouncement=15&f=284 Aside from all that, the no-bumping rule has been in place as long as this current version of the forums has been running and has never been a secret. And about halfway down the Rules page you posted there is a section that says "Bumping" with a link to the page Rob15 linked to? You must have just glanced over it because it is pretty clearly there. The reason I did an entire other page for just the bumping rules was because of how big of a problem it was when we first did it. I needed to go in a lot of detail so that there wouldn't be any confusion and it ended up being quite long.
Misfit
Also the reason that topic 'doesn't exist' is because a large number of old hyperlinks were broken during the software update - this is why it reverts back to the homepage.
