Image 1, a comparison of a standard Tanaka shot shell compared to an airsoft surgeon scattershot shell, notice the Tanaka has the fill valve in the button, requiring a special tool to load it with gas. Image 2, the airsoft surgeon 1 stripped down, showing the gas reservoir, fill valve, plastic tube and the little container for the bbs. The airsoft version just has four channels for BBs instead of one like the paintball ones. They even sell only the plastic part for three bucks, if you want to quickly convert a paintball shell to an airsoft one. Link to post Share on other sites
