jez
does anybody know if the stocks from the G&P 870 and the ACM M500 are interchangeable? i wish to build a new project shotgun and it seems i will have to buy a G&P 870 to build the one i want but i like my ACM M500 as alot of mod work has gone into making it perfect and id rather change how the ACM looks but the stock and foregrip i want are for an 870, so are the rear bodies the same? can i get the stock/foregrip intended for the 870 and use them on the 500? [smilie=icon_scratc: please say yes, i love my 8mm gas over a 6mm spring anyday!
ED-SKaR
Not going to work without some modding, and that modding might weaken the base of the stock(where it goes into the gun)
Bareknuckle
What is the stock set? The M500 is such a ubiquitous shotgun that I can't imagine that a similar stock doesn't exist for it, since I think you can modify real steel stocks to fit the ACM M500.
jez
Ive ordered the new magpul SGA Stock and MOE set
renegadecow
CA870 will fit real steel furniture with few modifications. M500 will do the same with none to little modification. But switching between makes is like trying to fit AK parts on an AR-15: not entirely impossible but will take a lot of work to get there.
jez
Well i was hoping the Magpul bits will fit on the M500, otherwise ill have to but a
ED-SKaR
Actually... I had a thought. You could build a spacer, if you have the right tools/supplies. shape one side to match the rear of the M500 reciever, and the other side to match the front of the M870 stock and then it will fit. I don't know if the M870 and M500 have the same screw angle, that's the only condiseration I can see.
