blobface
Hello, I've just mosfet'd my real sword SVD, and as it is front wired with a hole about 8mm wide for the wires to go through in the receiver, for future disassembly purposes, I need to cut the wires to install some means of disconnection. I figured two 3mm bullet banana connectors would do for the main wires, but for the 2 thin mosfet signal wires, I haven't looked too hard for it, but since the voltage is low, has anyone used any good 1/2 pin wire connectors that would be good for that while being able to fit through a 8mm hole? (I can use 3mm bullet as well, but since completely unnecessary and space wasting...) Thanks!
Tommygunn
Chopped up RC servo plugs or lipo balance plugs and pins, computer jumper pins etc etc. Take a trip to your local model shop or computer shop and see what they have to fit the bill. Tom.
PureSilver
Micro Deans connectors? They're easily small enough for that application, they're made by a reputable company, they can't be connected with their polarity reversed - they're generally pretty good. blobface
Believe it or not but even micro deans won't fit through the hole, I know I said 8mm hole, but it's not a round 8mm hole.. I've tried I'll look into RC servo stuff, ideally single pin male and female, which I'm not having too much luck finding, might look around on RS components.
