Stuey
Oh, I think they're kinda cool. I don't think I'm the only one either...
heroshark
ditto stuey. Depends on how its made and how much excess material is left on it too though.
xrayhead
Hmm maybe it's cos I haven't seen one in the flesh? The above picture is an example (I think) of way to much plastic (or what ever they are made of).. This is more pleasing but I think I would have to see one n real live to be convinced! vildtyr
Man they are the most ugly things I have ever laid eyes on! Get a 'taco' type holster
FireKnife
Mmmm, Tacos........... But yes your best bet would either be custom made or even as if you can get the frame swapped out for a non-railed one? TM frames can be had rather cheaply and so long as you are careful you can swap the frame yourself. Removes the ugly holes left by the rail. That or just go for a MEU or Series 70 then you don't have to worry about the rail, can get holsters for it from most places and if you want a light you can get the VFC1911 one and holsters for that too, given it is a 310 Surefire clone. xrayhead
OK - Changed my mind, going to order the TM HI-CAPA 4.3 for now and maybe look at the DW latter down the line.
Lone_Bullet
solid choice. You can always do 2 tone on the slide. The above picture has a custom rounded handgrip/triggerguard though.
Stuey
Yeah the hicapa won't fit in a serpa for a different reason, the square trigger guard.
FireKnife
If you want to go Serpa and ol' slabside (1911) then you will need a more standard model. Saying that can't fault the 4.3 Hi-Capa at all. 'FireKnife'
heroshark
With a tanyo koba grip (or whatever is called) the trigger guard fits ,then remove an inch off the dust cover it'll fit a serpa. Theres also the option of rounding off the original trigger guard which works, it's what I have Edited September 17, 2014 by heroshark

xrayhead
OK - Can someone tell me what the deal is when filling MAG's? When I fill my KWA G17 mags the gas goes in no problem, when I fill the TM Hi Capa mags gas ###### out all over the place whilst filling????
Lone_Bullet
That's because KWA/KSC have a tiny little o-ring in the fill valve, they're silent fill valves. Here you use the 5-7 second rule to fill the mag. TM doesn't use that, it spills the excess gas. Fill it till it starts squirting liquid gas out of the fill valve. Happy fragging!
