It was mind boggling until i found out it was the short barrel which is kepping it in low fps Ive done alot of research and alot of trial and error Perhaps you have a suggestion or experience in this Id like to keep it at 110mm barrel Goal is around 350fps With high rof (no target yet) Currently at 280fps with 110mm barrel type 3 cylinder port(g36?) Can reach 350fps with 280mm barrel (but no) Currently installing 13:1 gearset Could install a stiffer spring but that will slow my rof... Tried the type 4 cylinder port but much lower fps 190 i think Help pls? Link to post Share on other sites
renegadecow Posted June 3, 2015 Report Share Posted June 3, 2015 Not gonna happen. Higher fps is simply not possible from such a short barrel and without having to put in a very stiff spring. But what rof range are you expecting? For example it's possible to get 350fps at 20rps from an M140 and 3-cell lipo. >30rps if you put in a DSG. You can however up the net energy (Joule creep) by using a full cylinder, a slightly stiffer spring and heavy (.30g and higher) bbs. Your fps will lower a bit but will have better effective range overall. Link to post Share on other sites

I had one up to 38 rps with an m130 and a stock TM motor and wiring, with a beefy motor and mosfet, upgraded wires you should see over 30rps at around 330is fps, which will be all you really need. Should i short stroke and swiss cheese piston? That would bring down the fps and up the rof... What u think? Pare?
