echotebarknwhale Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 Hello! For a while now ive been looking for grenades. Not fake ones, but ones that blast out bbs. Sure some have been made, and hard to obtain, but finally there is an answer: the Escort M26A1! Ever since my last skirmish (some very very bad campers) ive been looking into getting this, and today I went down to Airsoft Extreme(great place!) and picked one up. I got the last one too! The grenade feels a bit heavy, about the same as a gbb metal mag, and the shell is made out of plastic, which after throwing around a lot seems to be well made. I went over to my friends house and we ensued to playing with it. We put bbs in it, filler it with gas, pulled the pin, and let her fly! My only gripe is the fuze time, because i was able to throw it, wait 1 minute, pick it up, put the pin back in, and the it fired in my hand. It will take some time to fine tune the timings, but thats expected. Even though the bbs shoot threw the bottom of it, which many people dont like, it is still very nice. I filled it with baby powder, and with confetti, the baby powder worked really nice, as a cloud erupted in 10-15 diameter, and the confetti, well, that was pretty fun! I would recommend putting a mixture of baby powder and bbs in it, because thats what looks the best in my opinion. Was it worth the $55 I payed for it? You bet!
