BigAl
Has any company ever made a Glock GBB with a proper safe action trigger mechanism, or are they all single action like the TM/KSC/KJW?
Hvy gear
i think the kwa g19 has a working trigger safety
BigAl
I have one and it does. What I am asking about is the mechanism. The real steal Glock does not have a hammer as such it is fired by a striker which is only partially cocked by the slide the remainder of it being done by the trigger stroke. It's kind of like trigger cocking a double action revolver. The WA Smith & Wesson Sigma uses one of these actions and I just wondered if any company had made a Glock with the correct action. Does anybody know if the MGC Glocks had one or if WA ever made a Glock?
Catchv22
They're all single action I believe.
Hissing_Sid
As already said, the simple answer is no. The airsoft replication of the Glock "safe action trigger" only ever goes as far as the centre bit of the trigger wedging gainst the rear of the trigger guard somewhere. None of the clever internal gubbins is ever replicated AFAIK.
Amano
if ure woried about a safety mechanism the tm glocks have a catch built into the underneath of the from of the frane in the trademark/product no. bit - sorry i cant describe it better amano
BigAl
Its what would be the serial number on the real piece actually. You've obviously not read the whole thread have you, read post 3.
Megalomaniac
if ure woried about a safety mechanism the tm glocks have a catch built into the underneath of the from of the frane in the trademark/product no. bit - sorry i cant describe it better amano <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Amano, thats a manual saftey, the "safe action trigger" is a dynamic type safety, AFAIK there is no airsoft model that replicates this feature. nmcabecadas
The KJW G23 have this feature. Remember that some guns ship to the US don't have this feature for copyright restrictions.
Megalomaniac
Really, nm, I was thinking of selling my P14.45 some where down the line to pay for a KJW G23, hmm I'll have to talk to LIAS and ask them if they can source me a KJW G23 with the good features.. BigAl
nmcabecadas you are talking about the safety lever built into the trigger, I am talking about the actual trigger mechanism. Don't ever again shout. Edit by nmcabecadas.
Megalomaniac
BigAL, can i ask you a question? Does the presence of the safe action trigger really effect the gun, are you that much of a prefectionist?
BigAl
just like the details to be correct. Ive got a WA Sigma and quite like the trigger mech for some reason.
nmcabecadas
The KJW gun parts are like this
BigAl
yes they are, read the thread. All the current Glocks ie TM/KSC/KWA/KJW are single action. I'm interested only in others that may or may not have a proper mech, ie Tanaka, MGC or WA (if they ever made one). Sorry about shouting as you put it but if people would only read threads properly before posting I wouldn't of had to. Everyone, please read post three before you add a reply. nmcabecadas
The problem here is that the blow back chamber in any airsoft Glock may prevent replicating correctly the real steel model.
BigAl
possibly, but WA managed it with the Sigma.
nmcabecadas
Send a PM to Snowman. Maybe he can help you.
Catchv22
WA tends to do a very good job on realism with their pistols. I wouldn't be surprised if the WA had it, but no one else did.
BigAl
Catchv22 did WA make a Glock and if so how long ago?
cruxed
I believe WA never made a Glock...
ZenMastaT
The above is correct, Western Arms have never made a Glock pistol replica. Your only hope for this type of thing would be in the older MGC guns, and for an answer about that I suggest you e-mail Darryl Zero over at www.classicairsoft.net as he is selling one at the moment.
