BiGSeXyFLaVoR
Ok I just want to ask what is a better deal or what is a better buy with $250. AIM M4 from JT: http://www.airsoft128.com/xcart/catalog/C0...kg-p-34531.html or KJW M700 from airsplat: http://www.airsplat.com/itemdesc.asp?CartI...%2DM700&eq=&Tp= I came down to these choices after reading and reading for weeks. I just need a good primary I dont know should I be a sniper or assault.
Noodle_2000
Hmm... I'm guessing you've heard of the JG guns that have recently been released? Get one of those. Also, where you play at. What terrain and weather? Gary B.
psg1snip3r
man, with a $250 budget, you could get a TM G36c, a TM Mp5-J or even a TM P-90, all these choices are WAY better than the options you mention... not to be mean, just for that type of money you can get a better quality aeg. good luck... Noodle_2000
True, it just looks like he doesn't want to blow it all on a gun. I'm thinking like $200 on a gun and $50 on other? Because you are going to have to buy other things.. BB's, Goggles..... But if you are looking for a great starter gun that is really cheap go with basically any JG model. But if you want to blow all your cash on a gun, go TM or ICS. Gary B.
otherrandomhero
SRC XM8 carbine, already comes with 2x hicaps with fake bullets in them. Best $230 you can spend. Strangely, my review was up for a few hours but then went away. direct link to review.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
I have $250 my choices: KJW M700 $200 and $50 scope or AIM M4 $150 do some upgrades with left over money. Which one?
roflcopter69
Yeah, JG is most likely the way to go. Check AnK if you like an m4 with rails. Or JG with accesories. Maybe a tac vest and some mags. goggles. Or the full metal m4 package at www.m4airsoft.com would be pretty cool. Comes with everything and a red dot. edit: why must you get the aim. There isnt anything super special about it. JG v2 guns will perform a lot better then the AIM for probably cheaper.
Noodle_2000
Me personally... If your looking for a Bolt Action or a Beginer AEG. http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=139_24_163 or.. http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=139_24_163 Most JG guns have the same performance. Only few differences, but performance is basically the same. If I were you, I'd spend the rest of the money on BB's and goggles. I wouldn't upgrade so soon. Don't forget if your buying the KJW. Your going to have to buy gas. So basically your right on the edge, unless your already have some. The AIM is a great performing gun. But in my opinion I like JG much better. You have a larger variety to choose from for the same price. Also your getting a newer model. Gary B.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
Or I can buy a KWA USP compact $125 and a metal slide and barrel kit for $105. Always loved the USPs
otherrandomhero
KWA USPc comes full metal already. It's the KSC that's plastic standard.
Pants of Death
Go with the Echo 1/JG guns that noodle gave you the link for. Airsoft GI will even give you free shipping if you live in the lower 48. $145 each for M16A4's, M4's, or M733's, and all have M110 springs. Plus you get a 300 round hicap, a battery, and a charger. It will last you a while without having to upgrade the internals.
Connery
Unless you're really good at firing on semi-auto very slowly with an AEG and actually hitting people at a distance, don't get a bolt-action. As cool as it is to be a sniper, you need to practice first. My suggestion to you is to get yourself an AEG that you can practice firing semi-auto very slowly with if you want to become a sniper. That being the case, I'd suggest the FAMAS F1, as it comes standard with a bipod. Internally, it can be upgraded, and because of it's age, it should only cost you about 200USD. drthvader567
If you have $250, go with the Echo 1/JG guns the new (2007) line of them corrected all of the problems the originals had, and the originals were still pretty good for clones. For $250 you can get any Echo 1, and then what ever add-ons/upgrades you want and still have money to say up for you next gun --Darth:Vader (O and here is some info I got about the new 2007 Echo 1's in an e-mail from ASGI: "Dear Customer Hi, thank you for your enquiry. Yes, they did improve on the internal. The spring guide is improved and the gearbox material has improved. Thank you Airsoft GI " Just though I would put that in there... )
Noodle_2000
Yea, if you do decide to get a JG G36C. Make sure it is the Version II. I believe that M4Airsoft has them in stock. Gary B.
spleinmuncher
Here - send the $250 to me, and I'll decide what to do with it.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
I want a good $200 - $250 gun that has good gears and everything.

Noodle_2000
$200-250... ok. http://poweredgeusa.com/product.asp?CategoryID=66&ID=2653 Add $10 for shipping. Then get... http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?Page...PROD&ProdID=209 And thats it, all your money gone and you get a good gun. But let me say that "Please read all the post." I'm assuming (Which isn't a good thing) that you are new to airsoft. How about you just search around a bit. Look at some things that interest you. Then come back and say "Hey I've looked at these and what do you guys suggest?" http://www.trinityairsoft.com/default.aspx? https://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc? http://airsoftgi.com/ http://poweredgeusa.com/ http://hotspotairsoft.com/ There are other websites out there. Just naming a few. Gary B.

But before you go out and spend all your cash on a TM, just look into the Echo 1/JG guns, they appear (I am using that adj. because I do not own one, have only read reviews) to be great quality for a lower price... Ok, I am done... --Darth:Vader
roflcopter69
Echo 1... I mean its the perfect first gun. You dont need to spend all 250 on the gun. Maybe get a sidearm or something. Check www.nitroairsoft.com for clones and www.trinityairsfot.com for TM and stuff. I mean, your not really liking the best choices for you.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
Do they have metal gears inside the gearbox?
drthvader567
Yes, they have metal gears... They have CA gears in them...which is very good considering they are $145 The only thing you might want to change would be the nylon bushings....but that isn't really that big of a deal... --Darth:Vader
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
Why cant I go with the KJW M700 though? I found one $185 on Amazon brand new. I mean I love the 600fps out of the box. Also I never heard any problems besides the hop up sometimes.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
Can those ECHO 1 guns be upgraded to metal bodies? Also are they clones of CA or TM?

Being a sniper is not something you can do by just pointing and shooting. You need lots of practice, and the best way to practice is by starting with something that, just in case you miss, you have the ability to defend yourself (switch from semi-auto to full-auto).
